We used cvc again recently and deeply regret the decision. They overcharge for services, plus our baby didn't even get the proper care needed. They sure cared about wanting the money, not our animals welfare. They don't even know how to handle criticism. Our pet definitely was not treated humanely. Very unorganized and seems ran by headless chickens.

Receptionist are very rude not welcoming have no sympathy have no care about your feelings of how your pets are doing. I've been going here for almost 5 years and I finally called it quits. Hire new receptionist or train yours to have some sympathy. At our new vet we are welcome. We are asked what the issues are with caring voices on an emergency with your pet they take you in right away and really care for that animal as for Crossroads when I brought my dog in on an emergency and he almost died they pretty much we're trying to kick me out of the Vets with my dying dog saying they are to busy . We did not leave with my pup as I yelled for the vet and he took my dog in right away after seeing the pictures of blood coming out of my dog bum . Receptionist are the people you talk to on the phone and the first people you see when you walk into the building at crossroads they definitely know how to make clients feel unwelcome.

My little dog was seen by Dr. Matt and I just really appreciated the knowledgable, down to earth and kind nature of this doctor. Will be requesting him next time we visit the vet.

This place is a God sent, my poor new puppy was having a serious emergency and we just did not have the cash to pay a retarded bill that second. Every clinic my boyfriend called including the one he had all his shots and stuff done at (Thunder Bay vet) basically told me either I pay asap or they could give two****s less that happens to him. There was even a **** from Thunder Bay vet that gave a price to put him down instead of helping when my boyfriend asked what am I suppose to do then!!!! Then we called crossroads and they were on it no questions asked no concern about being paid that day... they just wanted my puppy not to suffer, an hour later he was put out and fixed and doing great! This is what a vet clinic should be like and someone I would gladly work over time, personally starve or even sell a kidney! to make sure they were paid asap for all there help. Only one in town who can be trusted in my opinion

Very unsanitary, hair and dirt on old pill bottle that holds thermometers, surfaces not properly sanitized. My kitten contracted a fatal virus at this vet after he was neutered, vets denied anything was seriously wrong after repeated weekly visits after my kitten was progressively getting worse and would shrug their shoulders and say poor little guy, maybe take him to Minneapolis. Had to end up putting my 11month old kitten to sleep because of this virus he caught while being neutered. He had Feline Dry FIP, checked off for every symptom, which is a highly contagious virus that has quick onset and and is progressively fatal. I would not recommend this vet... my cat would still be alive if I didn't choose this place to neuter, because of fair pricing. Cat owners, beware.

I took my 11 year old min pin to this clinic about a year ago. They failed to recognize his diabetic condition until I brought it to their attention. Although he was overweight and had cateracts in both eyes. He was placed on 2 units of insulin twice a day, even though his blood/sugar was 31. After he went blind in a matter of 4 days, I returned to the clinic to pay another 80 dollars for them to tell me he went blind due to his severe diabetes. They did not even touch the dog other than to take blood. Nobody once looked in his eyes. I went home very upset and concerned that my dog was in pain.I did some research on my own and decided to take the dog to a completely different vet clinic. With only an initial examination of my dog, they found that he had severe cateracts and prescribed him eye drops for irritation. They also have made arrangements to have my dog spend some time there to regulate his insulin and get his blood sugar down. What a difference.

I needed to have my dog seen for an ear infection, my previous vet had no appointments. I called over and they had me in that day. The vet techs were great with my dog and the vet was great also. He was very informative, patient with the dog and i left with the drops i needed and feeling more calm and reassured that the treatment he gave me would help. This is now my current vet and will not go anywhere else unless its an emergency.
