They have the nicest staff who gives you the best customer service. Dr.Bassi is so awesome and really cares for your pet. He was so nice in handling my puppy even though my puppy is a little brat and kept creating problems. 10/10 RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!!!

Avoid this place if you want to see your pet live a good life and be treated the way they should be. We just lost our cat because of this place due to the doctor having a lack of knowledge in doing all that could have been done for a cat with a fever of 107 degrees. He did not even do a blood test when requested and told us that her last test came back as okay. That was last November 2018. Dr. Bassi has no care or concern for your pet and sees them as a meal ticket for him. How selfish is that!? Anyways, this is just a friendly warning for anyone out there who don't want to go through what my wife and I are going through at the moment and just like the cigarette companies, Dr. Bassi will treat you like gold when you are a first time customer and your pet is fine but eventually when your pet has something wrong and they are not doing so well, Dr. Bassi couldn't care and will ignore your concerns. He is a bitter man. Again, AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

I went to this hospital yesterday with a 6 week old puppy. The Dr. looked at his anus and said that he had never seen anything like this before. He said that it looked like someone had tried to give him an enema. He also said that there was nothing he could do for it. I took him to another vet today, and he said it had worms. How on earth did this doctor not know this. He caused extreme stress for myself and someone else, thinking that we did something wrong. I had brought 2 puppies and the mom to be dewormed and he asked why I wanted this. I can't comment on monetary value as he did not charge

I take my Rottweiler Puppy to this clinic. Aimee is a very happy girl who has received all her medication and love from the staff and the doctors. She was spayed at this clinic and the prices are very reasonable. They don’t waste your money with bogus pills or try to push gimmicks on you. I feel safe and secure knowing that Aimee is protected and well taken care of by the staff and doctors who know what they are doing. The facilities in the back are clean and there's nothing suspicious about their surgeries or cleanliness. I would recommend this clinic because they care about the pets! They haven’t sold me one single item that Aimee didn’t need and that say’s a lot about the clinic.

Great people. I started coming to this clinic about 3 years ago after being ripped off by another vet in Surrey and an attitude that I, as the customer, wasn't important. The staff, the service, the prices are all good at City Petcare Hospital. I recommend them to my friends. It was a neighbour who recommended them to me and I know other neighbours who use this clinic and are very happy with it. I haven't one bad word to say about this clinic. All GOOD.

First (and last) impression (as we won't be back!): Unclean premises, rude girl runs the counter, pushy and tries to sell you items you don't need, over-priced even after quoting you a reasonable amount. Dirty and unclean operating area (enough of a reason not to come back, in my mind anyway). The girl running the front area was extremely rude and overcharged us in the end. A Google review of this clinic revealed an individual who lost his pet while undergoing a neutering operation -- my puppy needs spaying, think I will go elsewhere.

VERY UNHAPPY....we took our beautiful puppy to have her ears cropped on Sept 21, 2012. We took her to the office at 9am extremely happy and healthy. At 2.30pm my daughter received a disturbing phone call from Dr. Bassi that he did everything that he could but she passed away during this very routine surgery. Upset and shocked I called him myself, instead of sympathizing with me for our loss, Dr Bassi made an unecessary comment and laughed on the phone. When we rushed down to the office of Dr Bassi, he had nothing to say and charged me for the ear cropping and handed over our dead puppy. This was my teenage children's first pet. This by far has to be the worst time in our lives losing our puppy. I do not recommend this individual. If you love your pet, PLEASE find another vet.

I phoned them Wednesday to see when I could get my cat in for a neuter and the employee said come in Thursday at 9 am. The person who works there was very friendly on the phone and in person. She was very good with my cat.The surgery went well plus i had him tattooed. Their prices were good, staff were great, place was clean. So much better and 'normal' compared to where I used to go to. (Surrey Animal hospital) They are a great place. It was my first visit and will continue to use them. :)

Overcharged me for "the puppy package" and then didn't even bother to give me any documentation on what it was I was getting for my money. Didn't bother to give me any advice on my new puppy's care. Seemed more interested in getting me in and out as quickly as possible than anything else. Rude, condescending receptionists. Avoid this guy who also can barely speak english.

Stopped in just to talk to the vet about appropriate medication for my very fearful dog. Dr Bassi listened, declined to recommend medication but recommended L-Theanine (a derivative of Green Tea) and behavioral training (which I've been doing for a year). He also didn't examine my dog, other than weighing him and looking at him from a few feet away, so as to avoid "torturing" him (my dog was terrified, trembling violently and huddled as close to me/the door as he could get). I appreciated Dr Bassi's patience with my "drop-in" visit, his unwillingness to use medication, his focus on training and his suggestion for a more natural supplement as a starting point, and his empathy for my very scared dog. He also didn't charge for this visit. I didn't see the examining rooms, but the reception area was clean and organized, the front desk person helpful and knowledgeable.

Love Dr. Bassi, some of his staff, r okay. Usually very reasonable and he has treated me well. My friend hasn't had such good results, but i have had no complaints. He will call back in the middle of the night for emergencies, and they are great for fixing breaks. Best ever bone fixers....I always recommend them.

Extremely unhappy with this Vet, i Took My Male 1yr old Cat her to be Neutered, And all went fine or so i though. So i brought my other 1yr old female (brother and Sister) and there Mother a 3 Year old to be Spayed, Thinking they would be well Cared for. i got a Call from the receptionist saying that my momma Cat was not breathing she went on to say that she was okay one minute and the next she was blue.of course i was horrified and she said it to me like it was no big deal i was so sick to hear this. and she went one to say that the Doctor (Dr Bassi) Had given her some sort of "shot" and she stopped breathing, of course in shock i hung up and got over there as quickly as i could to find that i was only going to be bring one of my Babys home with me. and the Doctor denied giving her any kind of shot he just simply said she turned blue and that was that. none of the story's were adding up and no one could give me a straight answer, i took 2 cats to this vat and left with 1 :-(

I had taken my 8wk old pup in to this vet to get his ears cropped. When we picked up our dog the vet had told us to leave his bandages on until they fell off or up to 2 wks. After 8 days the bandages started to let off a horrible smell. So we brought him back to get the dressings removed. When he removed them his little ears were infected..he than left the bandages off & charged us for an atibiotic cream for his ears. After a wk of the cream, ears were healed but they did not stand like we were told they would the day we picked him up after the surgery.(I even asked the vet if the cartilage had to be trained he said no.) They also looked very uneven, so we brought him back. I confronted Mr.Bassi about the uneven ears he insisted it was just the way they were laying. He than brought in his very rude receptionist to bandage them up TO TRAIN THE CARTILAGE. She than charged us for that as well. He is now 11wks & ears are still healing & night & day difference uneven. Very overpriced..

Love Dr. Bassi. He's soooo great with my puppy. I've been to a couple of vets who seemed uninterested in the animals and gave her treatment that I later found out she didn't even need. Dr. Bassi is wonderful. One of his receptionists, Pam (I think) is sooo wonderful too, but then there's the senior receptionist who is always trying to sell, and she speaks condescendingly to me if I refuse her offers, as if I'm a terrible pet owner for not buying into her sales pitches. And the 3rd receptionist doesn't have a clue. But the Doc is great. No complaints there.

Dr Bassi had taken care of our dog for about 2 years before she passed and was always honest and forthcoming with us. His accent is quite thick so we always asked additional questions and he was patient with that. He took very good care of our dog - so much so that we have taken our new dog to him too! He truly cares for the animals (even when they don't much care for him).

Recently had to put down our dog and found it far more reasonable than anywhere else and very compasonate considering they had never met us before. Recently had new puppy and kitten spayed and neutered there and found prices to be more than advertised but found the doctor to be very thourough and staff and overall care great.

The parking sucks. When I went there at 1pm it was closed with a sign that says be back in 5 minutes. I waited 20. The girl was nice and prices are good, but that is as far as I got.

This vet is horrible! I went there with my 8 week old kitten to get her shots. When I got there it was okay, but what happened in the exam room was bad. He started to take her temperature with a rectal thermometer and I've never seen a vet do that before. But my kitten was just screaming in pain because of it. And the vet was careless, he left a big puddle of lube on the table and my kitten slipped and fell off the table and hit her little head on the ground. Kittens aren't good with their balance at that age and she could have really hurt herself. And all the vet did was laugh and say "oops" like it was something cute. And then when I'm ready to pay she says it will cost $39. I didn't say anything. But they charged me for the exam and they weren't suppose to. So my boyfriend called later on saying he was upset about how they were treating our 8 week old kitten. And talked about the exam thing and she said "if the vet feels like he needs to charge you, he will." Talk about being rude.
