AVOID dealing with Dr. Miller who is the owner of the facility. In the spring of 2013, I came home to a cat who was actively dying of FeLV. When he passed, I discovered two of my other cats had extremely elevated temps and I rushed them to an emergency vet. The next morning, they told me to transfer the cats to my regular vet who would need to further hospitalize them. (These cats did not have FeLV.) Dr. Miller was completely annoyed that he needed to deal with my cats. I was heartbroken to begin with and stressed and pushed to my limit emotionally and financially. He was callous and kept telling me that he would have to charge me extra because the quarantine would need to be "bombed" since my cats were there. I asked him if it was inconvenient to treat my cats. He was a complete prick and I will NEVER set foot in that facility ever again. RID: 53208
3/29/12   2     3     2     1   This veterinary hospital took advantage of me in my state of shock and grief, and claim that I did not pay to have my cat's ashes given to me, only to cremate! This extra factor was not told to me while I was paying for the cremation service. This hospital hides behind a warm smile. They're actually terrible! RID: 33224
Click to report rating    10/14/09   3     3     2     2   I do not recommend Dr. Miller. I had a very bad experience with him and how he handled my cat when I brought him in to have his paws checked after Dr. Miller performed a declaw and neuter. My cat was nervous and started to squirm when Dr. Miller examined him. At that point, all Dr. Miller had to do was stop the exam. He had already seen what he needed to see. Instead, he proceeded to grab him by the scruff of the neck and hold him up in the air for a good 10-20 seconds while the cat started to scream from the pain. He had a good hunk of fur and skin in his grasp. When I asked him what he was doing he said "I’m not doing anything to him!" He told me if I continued to have problems with his paws, I would have to bring the cat back to be sedated before he could treat him. About 2 months prior to that visit, another vet at this clinic, Dr. Keilen, examined the same cat and was wonderful with him. He had no problems handling the cat. The whole experience with Dr. Miller was disturbing. RID: 14688
