Best vets, staff and clinic! I can honestly say that Dr. Peter Blomfield is the best vet we have ever had. He is so caring with our pets, compassionate to the pet owners and just an all round amazing person. The staff is equally amazing! You will not get taken advantage of here - decency and honesty are the bottom line. We drive across the city to access this clinic. :)

$90 for a 3 minute physical examination. Apparently my dog had to have one to get kennel cough vaccination even though when the appointment was booked I requested no examination as she just had an examination five months prior and was perfectly healthy. I was NOT told when I booked the appointment that I had no choice. The cost per minute was outrageous.

Dr. Mike is phenomenal. He really takes the time necessary to get to know you and your pet. We recently had to put our dog down. Afterwards, he sent the most touching handwritten card. His love of animals and empathy for their owners is extraordinary.

We have had Dr Mike look after our two American Eskimo dogs for nearly 10 years and couldn't ask for better care for them. Before moving to Calgary, we lived in BC and were constantly changing clinics, trying to find good, caring service, but could never find near the care as we found at Acadia. Dr.Mike has always been so caring - not only for our dogs, but also for us - especially when our dogs had to be put to sleep. Wonderful doctors and staff like this are rare and we feel truly blessed that we found them!! Thank you, Dr. Mike, and your staff. Bill and Marj

My family and I have been bringing our dogs here since 1986 when we got our first family dog. I've been coming to this clinic since I was toddler :) All of the vets are professional and compassionate. I have never had a poor experience here and I am shocked that there are even a few poor reviews. Over almost thirty years we have brought three dogs here to have put to sleep and I would trust no clinic more with the procedure. Dr. Laurie even gave my 17 year old spaniel a kiss when it was time to go. I very much appreciated her compassion at such a time. They even called to tell me what a sweet puppy I had when I brought her in for her spay operation. I have been able to squeeze my dogs in on short notice on several occasions. Their prices are fair for their services. They have recently undergone renovations and have a large waiting area as well as large examination rooms. I like that they are active on Facebook too. If you are looking for a vet clinic than seriously, look no further.

For years we have been bringing our Golden Doodle to this clinic since we got her at 9 weeks, and all of the staff and Dr.'s are amazing. They are very friendly and Dr. Laurie Weber is outstanding...she loves our dog and takes such good care of her. Our dog has had many allergy and digestive issues, and Dr. Weber is very informative and knowledgeable. Her stitches split when she was spayed and they re-stitched her twice @ no charge. The girls at the front even fax our paperwork and receipts to our Pet Insurance Company which is much appreciated :) I feel this clinic goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and they are always happy to see our hyper girl :) We have moved to a new community, and the travel time is inconvenient, but we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. Thanks again! You guys are the best :)

We moved to Calgary 3.5 yrs ago and are so fortunate to have found this clinic. All 3 vets are amazing, the staff super friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to explain things and are caring.

I have been taking my Persian cats to see Dr. Weber for over 15 years. After she left her previous clinic, I tracked her down at Acadia. I would travel miles to see her....she is extremely caring and understanding and very good at what she does. My purebred cats have had several issues that are not often seen, but Dr. Weber was able to treat all of the problems. If she doesn't know something off the top of her head she will research it, often working on her own time. I have seen Dr. Blomfield and Dr. Phillips when they were covering for Dr. Weber, and would highly recommend them as well. All staff is wonderful with animals and friendly and know you by name, even when you're just popping in to the clinic. Prices are reasonable as well, with the animal's welfare their main priority.

I take all 6 of my animals to this clinic religiously. I love all of the staff and they always treat my pets like part of the family. I also refer my clients dogs and cats to this clinic. Everyone is so patient and understanding and it is very affordable as well.

They seem to be good with senior animals but are incapable of handling puppies and their excitement. They are not friendly and are judgemental. The "medical" care has been sufficient but no warm fuzzy feeling you want when you take your animal to vet, not happy to see the animal, just putting in their time to get paid I guess. I would NOT recommend this clinic if you are searching for a caring compassionate family vet practice to establish long term caring relationships. Why is it too much to ask for friendly professional service anymore?

I have to thank all staff for the wonderful care they have provided for Tank. This is the best place I have ever taken my animals and the level of care and courtesy is more than wonderful. I would definitely suggest to anyone to give them a call to schedule a visit. Thank you to Dr. Laurie, Dr. Philip and Dr. Mike.

We went to this vet after reading the review here. and this definitely is a good place to take your pets to. staff and helpful and happy. Dr peter is awesome awesome, and awesome, can't be more grateful. bedie his knowledge of the profession, he does cares about your pets.

I highly recommend this clinc and Dr Peter Blomfield. Their compassion and caring is unmatched. Have been taking my pets there for 13 years. No better staff in my opinion. Their honesty, integrity and professionalism is top notch!

Our puppy had a neuter operation and it was so great. The good thing was they would go through all the possible charges from low to high end so you know what to expect. The next morning they would follow up and call to find out how our puppy was doing. The operation was so good that our puppy only rest for the afternoon and by evening he was already back to normal and eat and play.

First time visited this clinic due to our old vet retired. The reason I picked this clinic over others was based on the good reviews, but It was a disappointment. My Maltese had a anal sac infection and needed to be cleaned up. When Dr. Phillip exam her, Whenever he was giving me info or answer my question, he would always added "they say" in front of the sentence. It gave me an impression that he just got out of school and "They" referred to what he learned from books or teachers? When he brought my dog to the back to flash out the infection, my dog was screaming so loud in pain. After she came out, there was blood dripping down her behind and I had to ask for paper towel to stop the bleeding. After couple days, the infection got worse and the other sac also got infected, which means he didn't check to see if other sac was also infected. Ended up I took my dog to another vet. Dr Phillip talks soft and polite but lack of thorough exam and care for my dog, I will never return again.

After seeing Dr. Laurie Weber as a locum for my vet in a prior clinic I hunted her down and finally found her at the Acadia Drive Animal Clinic! Having also seen Dr. Mike Phillips and Dr. Peter Blomfeld, I can very confidently say that I don't think my animals could be in more caring and trustworthy hands. The AHT's are always amazing and the personalized, unhurried, and cost effective care I recieve here has made my numerous trips each year to the vet a very positive experience. If you are committed to the health and well being of your pet and understand that sometimes pet ownership is a luxury then you will be in good hands with the like minded individuals at this clinic.

We have been lucky to have Mike & Peter as our vet for many years. Unfortunately we had to put our dog down and while it was extremely difficult it was comfortng to know that the whole clinic felt our loss as well. They are always willing to go the extra mile for our four legged friends & I reccommend them to anyone

We have been seeing Peter and Mike for nearly two decades and they are great. Very family-oriented and up-front. Also very kind and comforting to the animals. Between all of the vets, they can solve any problem and they also have no qualms about reaching out to specialists for their opinions. I would highly recommend Acadia Drive Animal Clinic to anyone who really wants the best for their non-human family members!

We drive all the way across the city to see this vet and it's worth it! Dr. Laurie Weber is fantastic and we always have more than enough time to discuss issues and ask questions. Very knowledgeable and very trustworthy. Our dog is a breed with different needs than most and Dr Weber knew them and further researched his specific issues and helped us make the best choice for his treatment.

I have been taking my cats here for years. All vets are amazing (although Dr. Weber is my favourite) and I would drive across the city just to see them. All of the staff's top priority is the love and care of animals. They take their time with you and never rush you out of an appointment. They call with updates on your pet if your pet is hospitalized. Making lots of money and nickel-and-diming you is not their way of business, in fact there have been times I have not been charged for a quick visit. All of the staff are also sensitive and empathetic to pet owners' emotions and worries, especially with older and very sick pets. All three vets discuss each others' cases and collaborate for the best animal care. It is also refreshing to be greeted on a first name basis when picking up pet food! I cannot say enough great things about this clinic and all that work there.

Excellent, caring and thoughtful vets. We live fairly close to this office, but I would drive across the city for my 4-legged family members to be treated by these kind doctors. The office staff is efficient, thoughtful and truly love animals as well.

I just took my dog to this clinic based on reviews here and the close distance. I was very pleased with the staff! My dog is a bigger, hyper breed and they knew what to do to keep him calm, I discovered an item that helps & made a decision on the spot to have him neutered right then & there! Unlike other clinics I have been to, it's not about the money, it's about your pet here! They really care and I am so happy to have found them! I'll be picking up my dog later!

I drive across town to take my dogs to this particular clinic. Dr. Peter & Dr. Mike are extremely knowledgeable and kind and have gone out of their way to take care of me and my animals. As others mentioned, they never recommend unnecessary tests and have always been available when we've needed them.

I had a serious situation happening with my kitten & I had called this place 4 times in one day trying to make an appointment. No one ever answered the phone and took 2 days for them to get back to me. Ended up taking my kitten somewhere else.

Highly recommend - great vet! They don't over vaccinate nor do they push you to do extra procedures. Everyone is very friendly and the vet stays up to date with new research.

I have always been very impressed with the vets and staff at this clinic. If I have an emergency they will made time to see me right away. Their prices are most reasonable especially for the Calgary market. Would recommend them highly.

Amazing vet clinic! Have been taking several pets there, they are very reasonably priced and will not try to push you to do un-needed & expensive things, unlike some other places that will tell you there is a ton of tests they need to run... that they don't.. LOVE THEM!

I have been taking my animals to this clinic for ten years. The staff is very friendly and cares about you and your pet. A few times I have had to wait longer than expected, but they are worth the wait and give every animal the same care and attention. The vets are very patient and take the time to explain things thoroughly. I highly recommend this clinic!
