We've been clients of SVS since it opened & have always felt that our cats received the best care possible, whether a simple vaccination or a difficult-to-diagnose health problem. The vets are kind, knowledgeable & compassionate and the staff are invariably friendly & courteous. The clinic itself is spacious, clean and airy, and if we have to wait because an emergency has caused a delay, we can chat with the staff or watch the TV monitor set into one wall. We don't find the costs at all unreasonable since our pets receive focused, informed attention for as long as is needed to deal with any health issues.

We transferred our 2 cats and 2 dogs to this vet from one in Kingston a couple of years ago and are so much happier. Price is way better (though still costly if you're familiar with pricing in Manitoba), they have a much better understanding of the kind of care rural animals need and they also offer evening and Saturday appointments. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable - always happy to answer the questions of an overly inquisitive owner. I recently had to say goodbye to one of my cats and sincerely appreciated the level of compassion shown by everyone at the clinic. Even though it was after hours on a Saturday there was no pressure at all to hurry up, they granted me the time that I needed to say a proper farewell. Highly recommend this clinic.

My 12 yr old daughter and I brought our calm well trained silver lab here for an appointment. When we opened the door just a couple of inches to enter the clinic a dog that was inside, not leashed, attacked our dog and bit her on the nose. I pulled the attacking dog off my dog as it's teeth were stuck in my dogs nose. Our dog had a big heavy bleeding laceration on her nose. We remained outside to calm my daughter and comfort our dog. I then went in and asked what the heck just happened. To my surprise the owner of the clinic himself told me that they have had issues with the attacking dog with aggression in the past. Of course that shocked me. I asked why the dog was not on a leash or had a muzzle on then? He replied, dogs will be dogs, I said no we come here expecting a safe enviroment not only for our fury friends but for our kids too. Really felt the situation was looked after poorly.and without much compassion to my daughter and our dog, especially when they were aware th

People say SVS is very costly, I found the opposite. Friendly, clean and quite accomodating

They are way over priced!! It cost me $400 to get my cat spayed, I called Verona to find out that they only charge $175. I got my cat transferred to Verona, friendly knowledgeable staff at a fair price.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Corbin and this clinic. She is superb! Everyone is very friendly and courteous. Dr. Corbin has been fabulous with my rats and I. She listens to all my concerns and takes them seriously. She gives great advice and puts a lot of thought into her treatment. Love this clinic and can't describe the piece of mind it gives me knowing I have a kind and competent vet to look after my critters.

Won't find a better clinic OR staff to care for your animals. I have a guinea pig who recently got sick and they went over and above for him. They are compassionate, accommodating and most importantly they care.

We have had the pleasure of being associated with the wonderful Vets and their Staff at Sydenham Veterinary Services for the past 36 years,having had 3 Springer Spaniels cared for there. We can't say enough about the competent,fair and compassionate treatment that both we and our dogs have received. It is very obvious that all who work there have a great love of animals and are willing to "go the extra mile" to ensure the well-being of any animal brought in. In addition, every effort is made to accommodate requests for appointments in a timely fashion.When it was time to say goodbye to each of our dogs, we were treated in a very caring, respectful manner, which made a difficult situation much easier to handle.

We recently took our Great Danes to ths clinic for their annual vaccinations. On the way our 9 year old male suffered a heart attack. When we arrived the vet techs came out and carried our boy inside. Every single staff member in the clinic came in to the room to help. They worked relentlessly on Beau but in the end he had suffered to much and succumbed to the heart attack. I would do absolutely nothing different. They all put such caring effort in to my boy. Each and every one of them were so compassionate. This was the most horrific thing I'd ever encountered with an animal. They made it easier in many ways. I love the staff in this clinic. They are the best vets and staff I have ever com across. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for you efforts to keep Beau alive. He was exactly where he needed to be in his condition.

This is really a wonderful clinic. All the staff care for your pets, their patients and give individual, thoughtful and careful attention. There is always time to talk to you about your pet and his or her problems and the most appropriate treatment. It is a good environment for you and your pet. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it, all my thoughts and comments are positive. I have perused the list of cards and letters received. All are encouraging and a letter written by a cat to the vet(!) is in glowing and appreciative terms. No more need be said.

The vet's here are top notch and have all the latest equipment and can provide all kinds of surgeries that may be required. They truly LOVE the animals they treat and treat the owners with respect and honesty. They are the only people that I trust looking after my dogs. Great vets, great tech's, great staff, and wonderful treatment for your pets. They treat my dogs as if they were their own animals, and have never pushed any treatments only offered advice and opinions, and let me make up my own mind.

Family run vet clinic. Friendly and caring. AAHA accredited, all the modern equipment; laser, ultrasound etc. Up to date on new technology, medicine and treatments. I can't say enough good about this Vet hospital. I'm a frequent customer with all my cats and dogs and wouldn't trust any others with my animals. The care and compassion of all who work there makes even the worst circumstance bearable. Located a short drive out of Kingston. I have used a lot of vets in the city of Kingston and never had the level of care or comfortable feeling that I have dealing with this fantastic group of people. I'm so happy I took that short drive 5 years ago....and I'm sure all my little animals are too!
