I brought my cats to Dr. Miller. They are in excellent shape. When the lab work was in I asked that the results be faxed to me. They were. On my commute home I looked at the blood work (it looked like my cats were pre-diabetic). I thought this couldn't be correct. Then the species caught my eye, "canine." At the end of the labs was a phrase: "blood feline; results canine." I guess the samples were sent to the lab stating that the blood was from dogs (so the office made the first error); the lab never questioned the feline/canine paradox; then the vet didn't catch the error. Completely flummoxed. He had come highly recommended to me. I've been looking for a holistic/integrative vet for my cats and was disappointed.

My husband and I have taken our dogs to Dr. Miller at the Animal Wellness Center for the last few years and we find that his care is above and beyond anything we've every experienced with other vets. His treatments have hands down saved our dogs' lives and extended their years on this earth with a much higher quality of life. It's been nothing short of amazing to see the speedy turn around in the health of both of our dogs, due to Dr. Miller's special approach and phenomenal expertise, designed to strengthen the immune system, versus just treating with drugs. To give you one example, one of our dogs developed a chronic cough and nothing that was given by a previous vet did any good. So we stepped it up and sought out the care of Dr. Miller, and within 1 visit our dog already looked and felt so much better, and within 2 weeks the cough was gone. Dr. Miller has also expertly treated our other dog for heart disease and with a very simple regimen, his heart condition has improved

I agree, Very Money hungry...charged me 1500 dollars and gave me 5 min of time, he was rude and the place was way to over crowded. Suggested blood work results were toxic when they in fact were not. Suggested a leathal combination of pretnizone and aspirin. I took the dog to a hospital instead they gave me a nuerologist for $175...dog is improving now.

Money hungry vet. Told me my dog needed surgery when in fact the surgery would have done permanent damage to him. More interested in making a buck off the food he manufactures than taking care of his patients. Stay away from this vet!!

Biggest ripp-off on Long Island! Burton Miller sold me herbals that I later found at the Vitamin Shoppe for half the price. He works out of a trailer and charges customers DISGUSTING money. There are plenty of good vets on LI, folks. Don't believe the hype.
