Stay away! My experience on Jun 3-2020: ABUSIVE to my animal! Did not inform me I would not be allowed in with my cat, though I had a mask. Assistant was left alone to put my 16 yr old frail cat back in her carrier. On the way home, her face was pressed against the wire door, mouth gaping. I thought she was hot. Petting her through the bars, she was wet! At home, I opened the cage door immediately but she didn't move. Alarmed~I lifted her out ~ her front leg was jammed up to the shoulder through her collar!! She was lying in a pool of urine ~no doubt from the trauma of being unable to breathe properly. Called Dr Singh to describe this ~ asked what had happened in the room. He expressed ZERO concern or responsibility but DID confirm she could not have done this on her own. He also confirmed assistant was left alone to put my cat back in her carrier. BUT NOT A WORD of concern or admitting responsibility for this abusive treatment. Appalling!! I will NEVER return to this clinic.

Dr Napier is the WORST vet. She prescribed a medication that was unnecessary and has had an ill effect on my cat's health. All they want to prescribe is drugs, drugs and more drugs! Especially when there are other and more natural ways to help my fur baby. I wanted a 2nd opinion from a holistic vet and Dr Singh will not return my phone calls noe and I was ushered out after blood work was done without a consultation or review of the work. The staff think they know all and give advice opposite to the vets. I have been going her for 15 years and am surprised and now ashamed. Very unprofessional, unhelpful and will harm your pet's health. My poor baby has C K D because of Napier and her drugs drugs drugs. Do no harm huh? Do NOT recommend.

DR. SINGH -GREAT! DR. NAPIER -makes my blood boil! I took my beloved feline there when Dr. Napier was working. His white blood cell count was high. She gave repeated anti-bio. meds that did not work. She said unapologetically, 'this is what happens when you don't vaccinate'. Stood with a finger to her cheek posturing in a most exaggerated fake way wondering what to do next. At 3rd visit, she wasn't there & a vet I've never seen didn't know what to do & said take him to Pemb. ER. I never had a chance. Next day after spending $3000.00 previous 2 wks I found him in a pool of his own vomit, expired. I was devastated! I felt like she just wanted to make $$ from vaccinations & my vulnerability. NEVER would I step foot in there again! She should do PRO-BONO work to compensate for his life that came to a tragic end needlessly! Adding insult to injury they sent a card of condolence which I quickly TORE up. +++$$$ Money grabbing! Not competent. Front staff are friendly.

I was a customer for at least 15 years. Dr Singh was the best one of all the staff there. Other staff misdiagnosed my dog costing me more money in medicine that wasn't needed. The last time I was there is when they gave me an estimate for surgery on my dog that included dental surgery that upon going to a different vet I found out it wasn't needed. A surgery that would have cost over $900 at Henderson would have cost less than half at the other vet. Testing to confirm my pet needed surgery was performed by a different vet at less than half the cost and it turned out it was only a fat lump and surgery wasn't needed after all.

Honestly, every time we visit with our puppy it is absolutely amazing. Dr. Singh is such a kind, caring, compassionate guy. He really cares about your pet and he is so calm. He also really knows his stuff. Check ups and shots were great, quick and easy. Prices are affordable. I will always take my pet to him for the rest of my life, and I will make sure I spread the word about this clinic. Dr.Singh is a wonderful vet, and there is no doubt about that. My whole family has met him and loved his work ethic. Very professional and friendly. A great vet that I highly recommend.

We have been going to this clinic for 20 years. Dr Singh is the best. He is so calming to all animals. We had to put down our diabetic cat suddenly on a Sunday at Pembina emergency. When Dr Singh found out he sent a beautiful card and a rose bowl and he didn't make any money. With our two new pets he always calls us back. Our dog required tplo surgery which we needed to be referred to another clinic. Dr Singh called twice to see how are dog was doing. I can't say enough good things about him

We recently adopted an older dog. Dr. Singh has been very thorough with her and we have seen major improvements with all of her (many) health problems. They call to check in on her after she has had a procedure and when I call with questions, they are answered promptly by Dr. Singh himself. He always explains things very calmly to me so that I know exactly what is going on. He is genuinely so happy for us and for our dog when we tell him how well she is doing now. I would definitely recommend Dr. Singh as a vet.

I have been taking my dog to this vet for 7 years. Dr. Singh has always been very good. I have had my dogs teeth cleaned there and have always had check ups and shots. I began taking him for grooming as well. The groomer was odd/rude, wanted me to make a vet appt. for his dry skin. I told her it was winter and I had dry skin as well. This last time I called for a grooming appt. I was told that my dog is late for his annual check up. I said that he was fine and I just wanted a grooming. She was VERY rude and said that I had to make an appt. for a check up or I couldn't get a grooming. I told her I would take him elsewhere. How ridiculous!! Sadly, there seems to be more and more of this aggressive sales behaviour at vet offices. Do they get a commission? They expect you to have more medical and dental appointments for your pets than you have for yourself. If you don't do this they are rude and aggressive and treat you like a bad pet owner!

I have been going to this clinic for years out of convenience and found that if you are needing to renew your dog's license and get their annual shots, they are okay. However, if you have any sort of emergency, they are horrible. I almost lost my dog due to a bone getting caught in her intestine and aside from the lack of knowledge coming from this clinic, I had to deal with the rudest, most uncompassionate staff ever. They were ill prepared, charging me for tests and procedures that were not even necessary and when questioned, they became very aggressive. After leaving them to go to the Pembina Hospital, I found compasionate, loving people who cared and treated my sweet dog. My dog is alive because I chose not to deal with Henderson Animal Clinic. I will never step foot in there again, not even to fetch their records.

Over rated, over charging. Some of the staff have a grater than you attitude! Years I have been going there, thousands I spend on my furry kids. Just not happy.

We have been going to this vet clinic for years, because Dr.Singh is wonderful. He has a calming way with animals, and is very knowledgeable. However, the support staff is rude, unhappy and only helpful to those clients who are spending alot of money. Also beware of false information from them-they think they are as educated as the veterinarians.

Facility is nice and staff are friendly and caring. I have been taking my pets to this clinic for the past 20 years as this clinic is very close to my home. Over the past few years however I have been way over charged and have had to pay for expensive tests that I don't feel were necessary. There were also a few occasions where they could not even provide a diagnosis after the tests were run. I am now searching for a new vet clinic.

They overprescribe for every dryskin and scratch on your pet. I have taken my pets there for the last 8 years because of location. My Dog was fine 1 day and then bleeding out of every orfice the next. I took him in and we were rushed through, blood test were done, a diagnosis was decided and pills were prescribed. 5 different types, 3 times a day, but everything was going to be fine they assured me. after 1 day of being on the medication he started to get worse, we called the clinic and they told us theres nothing they can do and to stop calling them. I took the files and my dog to another hosplital for a second opinion but the record of the tests id already had done werent recorded properly and i had to get them all redone, he had to be put down and everything was going to be fine. I went to get the files of my other pets from them and not only would they not hand them over, when I broke down over the situation Dr.Singh was kind enough to cruelly smile in my face and not hand them ove

I have brought my dog Codi here for 13 years and have given them a lot of money over the years because Codi had a lot of health issues. We ended up having to take her to the Southglen Hospital due to an emergency situation and ended up having to put her down. I notified Henderson Clinic about her fate and after all these years we never even received a sympathy card from them. The Southglen Clinic had never seen her before and the vets cried along with us as we said goodbye and then we received a beautiful card from the whole staff. I would never deal with the Henderson Animal Clinic again. Can't believe they are that insensitive after knowing Codi for 13 years.

I was a client for 15 years and for 15 years I have been taken for a lot of money from this vet. my dog needs special food and hates royal canin they wont even figure out his caloric intake with the food he is on. The staff think they are vets but really they only have a certificate in probably a 6 month course from a community college which in the real world is equivalent to a high school diploma. They try to give a diagnosis against what the dr has given. The groomer well don't get me started on her (she is crazy). She thinks she knows more than the dr. She embarrasses herself by trying to tell me the dr gave my dog medication when its not needed I just need to stop grooming him? (oh im sorry mrs dog groomer I didn't realize cleaning anal glands all day makes you an expert?) I had enough of this vet constantly charging me crazy amounts and not seeing adequate results when it comes to my fur baby. I left that vet and will never look back. BAD BAD BAD VET!

approx. 3 minute check up from Dr. Singh.. cost me around $80.00.. the Dog has a lump under his arm pit, he didn't even notice it.. had to take another dog in for a rabies shot, he wanted to charge for another examination..over $100.00 in total... ended up going to fellow out on Portage Avenue, formerly from Stonewall, he did a marvellous job, I was very happy with the Portage Ave. Vet..and will no longer go to Henderson..

My old cat had an infection, I told them she wouldn't do well staying there for treatment. They kept her and put her on an I.V. When I got here home she had a stroke when she was there. She had to be put down $900.00 dollars later.

Front staff was super friendly and helpful, I think it's funny I get treated better at my dog's doctor over my own! Dr Singh was clear with what needed to be done at the clinic and also what I needed to do at home to treat my dog's ear infection. Definitely will be taking both my dogs here from now on!

I used to go to this clinic, but they are always after new ways to get your money. I took my cat in with a weepy eye, they wanted to run blood work to check for feline lukemia, wanted to check for mites, then do a teeth cleaning. I left and took him to the large animal vet that cares for my horses. This vet said the cat had a clogged tear duct, and all I need to do was to massage it. Within a week he was better! That advice didn't cost me a thing.

I've taken my pets to Henderson for years and I've always had a really great experience. The doctors are always on time and if they are behind it's only by a few minutes. I've seen every single doctor there over the years and they are all helpful in their own ways. The staff are always courteous on the phone and quick to answer questions if they can but not scared to ask the doctor and call me right back. All around great place to bring your pets!

There are some good things about this clinic: the techs are very friendly and good at what they do(how they trim my Siamese' claws I'll never know), it's a very nice facility, and I've never had to wait long.
However, the woman veterinarian who works here is just terrible. I found her unknowledgeable, unhelpful, and dishonest. I have a dog with chronic ear infections, and she never did anything which helped him. When we got an appointment with the male vet at this same clinic, he fixed my dog right up! He is a much better veterarian!
I want to complain particularly about the fact that they are clearly sponsoured by Royal Canin. I brought in my cat whose teeth I was worried about, and who I clearly explain won't eat dry food. She gave me a sample of Royal Canin Dental food. When I told her that I don't like that RoyalCanin has a bunch of corn in it as filler, she tried to tell me that it's there for a reason. Even though corn is a well-known filler in pet food. -_-
