I have utilized this vet on 3 occasions for my cat(s). Each visit 2 routine for one cat was very stressful for my cat. The staff are rough with my docile & friendly cat. The 3rd visit was for a cat I had rescued. I took her in for a check-up, shots & spaying(Dec '08). She did have an enlarged stomach even though I had picked ALL food source up @ 1700 the night before her spaying surgery. Was instructed by staff to NPO her @ 1800. When I picked her up the next day she was weezing terribly & appeared to be in extreme distress when trying to breathe. She even coughed up food. I called the vet, Dr Bill Cardwell, day after surgery because my cat's symptoms didn't appear to get better. He did examine her, in a very rough manner, & stated that he initially thought she was pregnant. Then he said that she aspirated during & after surgery & chastised me for not adhering to the NPO instructions prior to surgery.I did follow ALL their instructions! NOT recomminding this veterinarian.
