Brought our new dog here and found the vet to be professional yet cold. I do get the impression this is a highly priced veterinary practice. I was told my next visit was free but actually only the shots were free. I was charged for a full exam when all I needed to do was complete the primary puppy vaccines. I dont mind paying but this was not articulated clearly at my 1st visit. Had it been, I might have chosen another vet or gone to petco or another lower cost option. I will take my new pup to my other dogs vet in Bellmore from this point on. Also the quote for spaying seemed quite high.

Nice facilities, but they want to run excessive tests. Experience with non-owner vet was less than desirable.

Would NOT recommend them. They take x-rays and do other procedures which are not necessary. Brought dog in to vet because he was congested and had what I now know as reversed sneezing, Dr. Maltese did unecessary procedures and wanted to additional testing, After spending a few hundred dollars for tests and Xrays, Maltese wanted to do additional treatment which would cost #1,200.00. After being told by her that she wanted to do this, I got a second opinion from another vet. He put the dog on antibiotics for 2 weeks and the dog was fine. Maltese is out to get your money.
