Do not bring your pets here. The Vets work independently from the front desk. The office manager will dispense her own recommendations which push the products more than the well being of your pet. When they make a mistake they don't own up to it. Instead they act with no compassion or empathy just get defensive. My Dog was doing fine until the office manager told me a new medication was the same as the old which he was on for many years with no issues. Well it was a different active ingredient and now my dog has seizures. The switch should never have been recommended.

I have brought my dogs to Dr. DeVerna for about 10 years. Everyone who works there is wonderful. They are like family and know and love our dogs. Yes, veterinary care is quite expensive but I have a lot of confidence in the docs and techs. In fact, I think the dogs get better health care than we do. We brought our very first dog to Dr. D when another veterinary practice threw him out of their practice. He snapped at some of the personnel. Dr. D was willing to accept Buddy with all of his shortcomings and did work with him. He lovingly took care of Buddy throughout a chronic illness which resulted in his death.

This place is MUCH too expensive. The owner did not make an effort to work with me (10\% discount?????!!!!), despite his knowledge of my many rescues. I stopped bothering. Drs. Cintron and Carillo are very dedicated doctors. Dr. Carillo is a sweetheart, and I miss her!
