10/19/11   2     4     3     1   Just had my mom's dog in to se Dr. Nairn. Dog had a kidney stone and I was told surgery would be around $400. Dog survived surgery but died later that night...his heart couldn't handle it. I figured 400 for surgery, 125 xray, 80plus for overnight stay and check up and pain killers for when he first came in..total..say $660 including GST. Mom got her bill today for over $1200! OVER $1200! When Dr. Nairn said the cost of surgery would be around $400 I expected that to include everything needed for it...he charged $248 to euthenize the dog, when I was told the dog had died due to his heart not being able to handle it. The surgery was $360...but everything else needed to do it was extra. Not happy at all with Dr. Nairn. He might be a good vet, but if he'd told me it would be $1200 plus for this, it never would have happened. RID: 28436

Click to report rating    3/23/10   5     5     5     5   Transferred my sick puppy here from the University of Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic. FAR Superior service and help (not to mention reasonable fees and a genuine concern for the animals they treat). Dr. Nairn has won a client for life. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.
