My beloved dog, a golden retriever mix, had been unsuccessfully treated for an aggravating skin condition for nearly a year by his previous vet, when I went online myself to research alternative. I discovered Dr. Ghubash, at Animal Dermatology, and was impressed from her first word by her communication skills, detailed and expansive knowledge on allergies, and her immediate (and accurate) diagnosis. She knew from a glance that my dog had been treated with steroids, because of the blood vessels on his stomach. She took a skin culture and told me, right away, that (although she'd confirm at the lab) she felt my dog had been misdiagnosed. The medication he'd been taking was for a different staph infection than the one he actually had. The topical cream and internal medication she prescribed worked right away--the pills literally were accurate to the day. This vet provides forms for the client to review every aspect of the care they receive, starting with staff responses. Exemplary!
