This clinic USED to be great. Staff were happy and my pet was treated well at a reasonable cost. Fast forward 8 years: everyone that works there appears to be unhappy, wait times are extremely long (even for a walk-in) and it seems all that matters is how much the vet can bill for the visit. On two occasions in the last year I have left the clinic feeling like I was taken advantage of and did not get great treatment for my pet. I will not be back.

This clinic told my friend that her dog had a cyst on his face and that it would have to be removed if it grew. So my daughyer and I took a look at it and to our surprise we saw that it was a large woodtick . We told our friend and said that we could pull it off as we had much experience removing woodticks from our own dog . We put it in a jar and took it down and showed the receptionist and explained that my friend was told that it was a cyst. She did nothing , was unconcerned and pretty much just ignored us , so we left . Can you imagine a vet clinic making a misdiagnosis like this ? We were horrified ! This clinic is very unprofessional and the vet that made this wrong diagnosis shouldn't be allowed to practice. Shame on you !!

Brought winchester in after being severely bitten by another dog kept him there and advised a 3 day stay and hours later after billing for it stated they were inadequate to attend to him . Knowing full well he was in critical condition and would need to be transferred . Not half a day later as they raked whatever charges they were capable of . I don't dispute needing these procedures . But if his full recovery couldn't be met there why estimate charges you can't fulfill and once stabled he should have been transferred so those following through with care could monitor the initial tests that we are know having to have redone

Regular vet not available so took my dog here. Reception definitely not as pleasant and friendly as my vet clinic but fine. Vets were fine. 1 assistant was ok. The other was rude and uncaring. Heard her express annoyance about a vet heading into an exam room. No realization that it was inappropriate to let customers hear that. Didn't smile and didn't even seem to like the animals. Didn't bother to say anything cause it was obvious it wouldn't have made a difference.

I recommend Dr. Jennifer Jinks. This is the third or fourth time I've seen her as a walk-in for checkups/ shots for our dogs and cats. She is ALWAYS pleasant, professional and respectful. I can't say that about another vet who works there. I took a dog in for hip xrays, and was told the dog experienced a crisis because of a drug that was given due to a heart murmur that had never been diagnosed by the regular vet. Had the "murmur" rechecked...non existent. Also, I take my dogs south of the border for dental care because it is a 1/4 of what is charged up here. Same vet was rude and dismissive, saying they don't do "proper" cleanings. According to my invoices, they're identical. I understand their need to make a decent living, but I don't like being treated like I'm clueless. Overall, I like this clinic, wait times can be long because it's walk in, but there are a couple of great vets here.

I just got home from the clinic after my dog had her stitches removed. She had a lump of infection removed from her back after a wood tick bite. (So they assume, they're not really sure) While removing the stitches they actually ripped open the surgery incision about 1/4". She said it was because there was dry blood on it, my question, why the heck wouldn't you have cleaned it off prior to ripping the stitches out. So now I can see it oozing and she said to just keep an eye on it. Never say the vet now or after the surgery. So I stopped at the drugstore and am now going to bandage her up so she doesn't get another infection in there. This is my first, and last, experience with this clinic. The people have a don't care attitude and their work is shoddy at best. I would definitely recommend you DO NOT take your beloved pet there.

Receptionist acted like it was an imposition that we showed up at the clinic at 6:25 pm. We live out of town and hurried home as quickly as we could after work in order to bring our dog back into town. We had found a lump on our dog's leg the night before and felt it should be examined. All the receptionist was interested in was telling us that if the doctor didn't see us until 7:00 pm that we would have to pay an emergency fee. Didn't smile, didn't make us feel the least bit welcome and was more interested in the emergency fee than finding out why our pet was there. I would not have come that late in the day if I could have avoided it. I was not expecting anything but a quick look, knowing that I would be told either to bring her back in for biopsy/surgery or to keep an eye on it. I am sure the veterinarians are fine there, but was put off by the attitude of the receptionist. Can only rate the receptionist at this point.

I took my two dogs there for more than 4 years and I was quite pleased with the knowledge and care, particularly from Dr. Sheppard. Sometimes the waiting time can be very long.

I have been a client of this clinic for over a year. When my kitten went in to be spayed, the receptionist was rather rude to me, refused to look me in the eye, and tossed my cat's health records around. Possibly because I payed with a low-income spay voucher. Clinic advertises that they use the most up-to-date technology, but my cat's stitches are silk and not dissolvable. Love their walk-in policy and hours though. All vets themselves are always friendly and helpful.
