Lets be VERY CLEAR about vets and all those that work for them. For the biggest and most part, they exist for THE MONEY. Lets be frank shall we?? Do any of these people do anything solely for the good of the animal?? I have gone to the Pasadena ER overnight vet that has a sign on the wall stating if you drop off an animal without returning it will promptly be "disposed of"!
My experience with this vet has been LONG now, for at least 10 years. Let me tell you my EXACT feelings about this place.
I am glad that Dr. Skaar graduated from USC. Those are her credits after her name anyway. She seems to possess know how with intuition in diagnosing a pet problem, which is the way it should be as that is most accurate, and she is good. She is fairly cool though, gentle but professionally friendly. I have always noticed that she sort of backs away, as though she really doesnt want to know me, and I can only figure that she's treating everyone else the same way as Im a very friendly person.
