Leo (our senior kitty), was transferred over from All City Hospital as he is a regular at S.Nation. He went in for vomiting blood after he couldn't get an appointment sooner than 3 days out. I gave up and drove him to the hospital where he had an ulcer due to his hyperthyroidism acting up. Sioux Nation said they wanted to test his thyroid and stated the lab was $52 and when I called to check on him they said it was $150! I asked why it was different and they said he had a full panel of labs done not just the one I approved for them to do. They refused to change the price to the quoted $52 and also ran other tests I didn't approve and specifically asked to be called when the Dr came in to check him before treating so I could be sure of the costs. They treated and ran more tests and I wasn't able to decide anything, just expected to pay all the costs.
On top of this they pulled his IV out early due to injuring his paw. The claimed All City didn't put his IV in right and it was a result
