Click to report rating    4/23/16   3     4     4     2   I have been taking my pets to Neffsville for many years and while I think the techs are wonderful caring people I have some issues with the practice in general. #1 twice I was rudely told I was late for my appointment when I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled time. #2 because you see a different physician every time you need to go in (outside of annual checkups) it seems like they never get the full picture of your pets health even though they all seemed to be very caring #3 while our pet had a somewhat rare illness, all her symptoms pointed toward a diagnosis that was never considered until it was too late. And that diagnosis came from the emergency center not Neffsville. #4 pricing is out of control for example. I had inquired about using a supplement for my dogs skin and they said they had some they would put at the desk for me. I paid $26 and when I got home I found It online for $14. While I know it's not unusual to find lower prices online that seemed a huge markup. RID: 60373
Click to report rating    5/16/15   4     5     5     3   I've been going to Neffsville for 5 years. Although it is slightly more expensive than my previous vet I wouldn't go anywhere else. We see Dr. Hockenberry now and he is more punctual and even calls to check on my pets after they've been sick and had surgery! He really cares about our dog and cats, and takes the time to explain any testing. They also have more hours than most vets in town. I would highly recommend Dr. Hockenberry and Neffsville. Click to report rating    8/3/11   3     2     2     1   Cat became ill after receiving a med that caused his bone marrow to stop producing Red blood cells. Dr. Hee Hawed around for 5 months with other meds while cat was not responding. After NUMEROUS visits(few times a week)cat became so ill on a week-end that he had to be seen at an emergency clinic..vet did alot of work-up and found this cat had OFF THE WALL blood work and numerouse enlarged organs. Sadly to say he was euthanized that evening. After all the visits and money spent in this clinic the vet could not make a diagnosis?? Something is WRONG with this picture. I called to let them know that my cat was no longer with us anymore. No CALL OR INTEREST FROM VET!!!! That should tell you that this center is for PROFIT ONLY! Save your money and find a facility that cares. This place USED to be a great clinic before the NYLAND brothers retired. RID: 26683
Click to report rating    12/4/07   5     5     4     2   I've also seen a huge jump in pricing over the last several years. Our family has always brought our beloved dogs here because we've always found the staff caring and courteous and the care and expertise of the doctors are 2nd to none but lately we've been considering another practice because we simply can't afford the prices anymore. I hate the thought of moving but it seems like the practice is now catering to a more "well-off" class of people and not considering the average family who can't afford the tremendous rises in price for normal medical care. And we can't even think about putting the pets in the 'spa'. I know people have asked for this service but please remember that this is well above the average pet owner's affordability. RID: 6593
Click to report rating    9/26/07   2     5     1     2   Neffsville vet used to be a small practice and they were wonderful. They've expanded their services considerably over the last three years and the strain is showing. The front desk staff are slow and incompetant. I always wait at least 20 minutes to see the vet after my scheduled appointment time. And the prices have soared. Also some of the veterinarians have a poor bedside manner, don't listen to their clients and prescribe Science Diet to fix everything. It is hard to do the best for my pets when I can't work together with my vet for the best treatment. Some of them think they are dictators. RID: 6009
