My wife and I have always received great service from this vet and all her staff. They treat our current cat "Niblet" great, and he seems to feel comfortable with all of the staff. We buy all of his food here and he has never got sick from any of it. He was declawed at this clinic, and after the procedure he was jumping around and playing after 24 hours and never had any issues afterwards either. When Tracey gives him his shots, he does not even flinch or fuss. The bottom line is, you get what you pay for, and we are willing to pay more for better overall care and knowledge of our cat. Good job and well done and a huge thanks to Tracey and her entire staff.

Cots are very very high, and they nickel and dime the hell out of you. The staff have always found as polite but not very knowledgeable. The vet was good and has a good working knowledge about dogs, i have since changed vets simply due to costs, and having to make mutable appointments for things that could have been taken care of all at the same time.

I figure this quack owes me $5340.00 - she killed two of my snakes (one was $3500 US and the other $1500 US), she dministered the WRONG medication and charged $340 for a cursory examination, she only guessed at the problem. Please do not use this clinic, this is a local cash grab!

This clinic is one of the worst clinic's I have ever been too. Not only will it take you 30-45 minutes to see the doctor, but it will take her more then double that to do something as simple as vaccines. The management team is terrible, and the whole clinic is completely unorganized. It's like the people who work there don't communicate with one and other. You have to call and remind them constantly in order for anything to get done. It seems as though they are there to take your money, and forget that customer service is what people pay for in todays society. If you feel like wasting your valuable time, and hard earned money, go see Dr. Buhrows her complete lack of respect for your time as well as her pricing are clear examples of why you shouldn't go to this practice.

I took a new dog to see Dr. Buhrows who immediately gave me a serious diagnosis and one that seemed obscure for a young dog and one that needed a $1200 surgery immediately. WHen I mentioned that a friends' father was a vet and I wanted to ask him - she looked panicked. Sure enough, I took my dog to see my friends father and no such surgery was needed nor was the diagnosis correct - even close to being correct. I have since removed all my animals from her care. WIth friends who work in other clinics in KW, her staff is unhappy with working with her and she has a high staff turnover rate which explains some of their attitude. SHe is after money, not the care of your pets people - no other way around it. People really need to start reporting her on a more regular basis to OVC.

I agree this clinic is more expensive but it is worth it. Dr. Buhrows is very caring vet. My first dog also reacted badly with other vets who just stressed him more by restrains. Dr. Buhrows was always able to examine him without problems. She has cared for my two dogs, a ferret and two cats. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable.

This clinic is over so over priced for what you get. They were also over a half hour late for my dogs appointment. I would never go back with my pets.

I took my cat to Lincoln Village Animal Hospital awhile back because it's the closest vet to our house and we don't have a car so we were able to walk there & back with him in a carrier. Staff & vet were friendly and knowledgeable however the prices were RIDICULOUS! It cost over $500 for the visit + lab work for him to be diagnosed with an ecoli UTI. The antibiotic he was given which was just a regular tablet was more expensive than the human variety if I had purchased it from a pharmacy and it was the exact same drug. He finished all the antibiotic but still to this day pees all over (however I don't know if this could be behavioural). I have also called them several times over the last few months for price quotes for vaccinations & spaying for my new puppy. Every time I call I feel like I'm getting a pushy sales pitch on the phone with the staff going on & on about their AAHA accreditation and pressuring you to book an appointment when you are only calling for a price quote.

The staff at this clinic is insane! I was told my dogs spay would cost 350 when i brought the dog in the day of they said the cost was 678!! And that "a registered nurse" was going to be present during the surgery and thats why the cost is so high.. Then she said that the other local vets are not sterilizing equipment for surgery and to go there if i dont care for my pet..I left with my dog and refused to do the surgery they are liars and DELUSIONAL! Horrible dont bother coming to this clinic they are only money hungry

Look at the good reviews for this clinic, they are obviously written by the owner or staff. I can't believe how expensive this clinic was and no follow up regarding my animals, I called and asked after the medication did not work, they said I would have to pay for a whole new visit. Maybe they should have done tests the first time rather than perscribe the wrong medicine. I found a better clinic, I will never go to Lincoln Animal Hospital again.

We were very dissapointed with the vet at this clinic, we had to wait and spend entirely too much time talking to her assisant, the vet did minimal work and the charges were borderline criminal, their exorbant charges should be stated before you arrive at the clinic, not when you are leaving - compared to other vets. This vet is one of the worst in KW. - Please Please, ask for charges and test costs up front before going to this overpriced clinic, I love my animals - but all they love is MONEY!

Absoloutely the worst service and overpiced, the vet flat our lied to me, and overcharged by twice anyone elses rate. Made me purchase an entire bottle of medicine, however only gave me a third of it. THIEVES and LIARS, I would not trust them with my pets again. Knew next to nothing about exotics, didn't even do the most basic of tests. What a joke!

Awful vet clinic, seem more interested in selling products than caring for pets. They referred us to the Ontario Veterinary clinic for my dog’s health issues and charged us for written summary of my pets file (no such charge exists at our new vet). When I arrived at the OVC they had not faxed over the letter. Without a complete summary of the file we were left to try and remember all of our pet’s health issues off the top of our heads. They denied forgetting to send the letter and would not refund the cost of the letter. A useless clini c and vet, we are at a new vet in town that is far better.

We went to this vet because she was very compassionate and gentle with our cat. But it was overly-thorough, and very expensive. They also told us to buy certain food to help with tartar, but all it did was make our poor cat sick.

So far my experience at this clinic has been a good one. The staff are absolutely amazing but I've had to deal with the hospital manager a couple of times and he is the rudest person I've ever met! Dr. Buhrows is amazing and very detailed however, I went in to purchase food recently and found out that she's on mat leave. Nobody ever gave us any notice and it was a shock to know that we would be seing a completely different vet for our next visit. Totally disrespectful in my mind. A simple letter would have been nice. Also, extremely overpriced and they take forever to get back to us when reporting results.

This clinic is our new exotic vet ... very pricey. Limited interaction outside of appointments. Not one of the best vets I have been too. However, her annoying need to know everything about my iguana saved his life. I hadn't realized my light wasn't giving off UVB this seems to have resulted in poor choice of food as well. Now that i have added a bulb that does only hi output UVB it seems all the good foods are not more attractive and in large amounts :-) I feel good now that My iguana is getting proper care and I know for sure.

This place is poorly managed and very difficult to deal with. The staff is allowed to treat the customer with total disregard and when you have a problem, you are passed to the adminstrator who happens to be the vetrinarian's husband. His method of dealing with anything is total avoidance. I tried to get a matter resolved for over a month and finally gave up. These people seem to have forgotten that it is the customer that pays the bills, not the pet. If you expect good customer service, give this place a pass.

Lincoln Village is extremely overpriced and very unreliable. We have been very disappointed with their care in our dog and have since switched vets. We had to fight with Lincoln Village to get results on our dog and when we did it cost us a great deal. We are tired of always being charged a lot more than other local vets especially because the service is so poor.

The last straw with this vet was that she wanted to charge us an additional amount of money to be in the room when she euthanized our very old and ill cat. When we asked her why the extra charge, we were told "because by staff needs to help console you".

Overpriced, not friendly, never return calls, cannot speak with the vet. Overall your best to find another animal hospital, one that cares more about people and pets instead of money.

While I agree the clinic is expensive, the standard of care they provide is well worth it! Dr Buhrows is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met. I am always amazed at how far she is willing to go for my pets. Yes she does refer out a lot, but it's for good reason! She uses board certified surgeons to ensure the safest surgery for your pet. I wouldn't want a general practitioner operating on me when I could have a certified orthopedic surgeon! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help. Overall, I love this clinic. Even though it is a bit pricey, Dr Buhrows and her staff are worth it.

over priced by a long shot. We have a dog and the cost for a checkup and blood tests was over $300. then it took 2 months to get the results back from the blood tests.

I went to this vet hospital with a sick snake because they list themselves as specializing in reptiles. Unfortunately, the vet and other staff did not know much about snakes, and the rates are through the roof. It cost over $600 for the vet to tell me she did not know what was wrong. She referred me to a specialist in Guelph, and charged $35 for the referral letter! To put this into perspective, I was double charged for X-rays because the snake is long, and was charged a hospital stay charge because I left the snake for them to take X-rays later in the day when it was more convenient for the staff to do so. I am NEVER going back there!

Dr Buhrow's truly seems to care about the animals. However, as she is the only vet in the office, it can be very difficult to get an appointment. Also, she refers out a lot, which involves having to travel to Guelph, Toronto, Hamilton, London, etc. to see someone else. The office doesn't seem equip to handle 'special circumstances' which can be a pain. Also, the exam fees seem expensive. The office staff doesn't seem to know much and it takes FOREVER to get an answer back.

I was a customer for several years. Each year the rates increased significantly. Extra little charges with glamorous names and huge price tags are not justified. For example, my dog's spa pedicure costs almost as much as mine and takes 5 minutes!
After several other incidents with mis perscriped medications, and rediculous additional charges, I believe they are more interested in your pocketbook then your pet.

Dr Buhrow's did a very rushed and undetailed checkup on my bunny and was very rude to me. She quickly brushed me off to one of her assistances, and overcharged A LOT on the pain medication. Also, she had me stay much longer to wait for the medication to be dispensed when it really doesn't take that long - taking 30 minutes, when I have explicitly told her I MUST leave within 10 minutes. The cost of her visits are also very pricey compared to other more-experienced vets around KW/Guelph! I am very disappointed that I went to her out of the lack of knowledge!
