I recently took my small dog in for a skin allergy and possible yeast in his ears. I was stunned when the bill I got was for nearly $600. They prescribed him numerous medications, all ridiculously overpriced, and told me they couldn't write a prescription for any of it because of Federal Law! I was told the pharmacy had to be "licensed". There are several licensed veterinary pharmacies on the internet that I have used for the past 4-5 years without any problems. How sad for the owners that need attention for their animals and can't get it because of their exorbitant prices. They also told me the CDC REQUIRED my dog receive roundworm/hookworm medicine (AN OUTRIGHT LIE) and charged me for it without explaining what it was for. When I got home and researched the medication I realized they prescribed the wrong amount (too little) and my dog likely would not have gotten ride of the roundworms and hookworms even if he does have them. THE BOTTOM LINE IS IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!
