We were visiting Squamish and our dog needed a vet for a suspected ear infection. The nurse who took her temperature and weight was kind and gentle. Dr.Grewel correctly diagnosed and treated the ear. However, Dr. Grewel was rough and impatient with our dog who was nervous and is young. He used her leg to pull her around so he could examine her other side and he cleaned her ears roughly and without reassuring her. Our dog was constantly glancing at us and looked anxious. He left the dirty tissues he used on the floor when he was finished. He seemed very impatient. We didn't feel welcome and will not return here. Thank goodness for the front office staff. Maybe he was having an off day but it was not great. When our dog came to our own vet today for her ear to be checked she was nervous and she has not been nervous at the vet before.

My friend highly recommended me to Dr. Grewal after taking his dog in to see him. I took my dog in when she started having some issues which ended up requiring immediate surgery and lump removal. The procedure was successful, I've never been so impressed with a vet. He was compassionate yet honest about the condition but in a calm and gentle manner. He didn't suggest doing anything that wasn't absolutely necessary, he charges fairly. Money is not his main driver, he truly cares for animals and their owners. I really feel lucky to have found a vet with like him and would recommend him to any pet owner.

I have been going to see Dr.Grewal ever since he has been in Squamish . I have used used other places before but wasn't comfortable with them . I had a very high matinance dog when we first went to Alpenloft and right away was impressed by Dr.Grewal's bedside manner . Ginger was my baby and I was always upset when she wasn't well . I feel like he is our family Dr and would never want to change that. We had 2dogs and I really appreciated the 10% discount he offered for more than 1 pet. My dogs have never liked to go to the vet and I feel like they trust Dr.Grewal . He s always been compassionate and very caring to them and to me . He knows how much we love our pets .when my dogs passed away Dr.Grewal made sure they were comfortable and gave me time to say goodbye and let go . I've had dogs for over 30 yrs and I wish Dr.Grewal could have been there for all of them . I would recommend this hospital to anyone and have done so !! Very professional- fair prices and compassionate staff, while waiting with my pet I spoke with two other people that come from Vancouver to have Dr. Grewal treat their pets. Our Vet for life.

I've only had great experience here with Dr Grewal. He works with me to find the best course of action for my pet, unlike others who seem more about just getting as much money out of me as possible. I would recommend him to everyone. He is caring, and compassionate.

Groomer recommended this vet to me when my pooch had a dewclaw growing into the skin. The vet was very gentle and reassuring. Dexter was v comfortable with the vet. We have found our new vet, The girl at the front was polite as well.

Whoff ! Whoff ! To all my four legged friends, you'll love Dr Grewal,
he's very gentle and finds out what's making you sick and makes it better. Thank you Dr. Grewal,..MEG. H.........My dog had a cough that wont get better I took her in and Dr Grewal did an Xray and a blood test. He said that cough is due to Meg's failing heart but there is a lump in Meg's tummy that looks to be a cancer. We had that removed and it came out to be cancer of the spleen. Meg would have died but for Dr Grewal's efforts. I have been recommending him ever since I stated seeing him couple of years back. I'm confused about all of the glowing comments about this veterinary clinic. I found their services mediocre at best, the vet wasn't helpful and didn't seem particularly knowledgeable or interested in my pet. My problem didn't require a high degree of attention, but I would never go back. Goes to show you can't believe everything you read on the internet!

I had been given recommendations by several friends to go here. I recently went in with a somewhat urgent dental problem, and was very pleased with a timely response, scheduled for surgery quickly without excessive charges, and though the problem turned out to be less serious than originally thought(my patient was most uncooperative for the initial exam), the problem was identified and dealt with most competently, with time remaining for a beautiful dental cleaning that was the most reasonable price I have paid for that service yet! Dr Grewal and his staff were confident and comforting (I am a worse patient than my pet), and more importantly, in the end I was extremely satisfied with the care my pet received.

I have been going to Alpenloft since they opened. I have been to many before. Here I have had professional, caring ( for my pet as well as me) fare options with fare prices. Always willing to discuss what to do and respects what I want to do. I will keep coming back here. He even phones to check up on how my pets are doing. I would highly recommend this vet. Doctor Gerbal is so great to deal with and when we needed him he would always make room to see my dog even when if it was last minute or when it was close. It's the most affordable vet in all of Squamish and I the service is great!!!

we had a dental emergency with our dog. We called Dr. Grewal afterhours and he met us at his office in 10mins. I was devaststed about causing the injury. Dr. Grewal was very reassuring to me that it was an accident and not to fret too much. Gave him some pain killers for the night and we brought him back in th emorning for xrays and then he had to have 4 teeth pulled that were broken. Picked our dog up at the end of the day and he was already back to himself. As a nice bonus Dr. Grewal even video recorded the procedure to show the damage to the teeth and roots was beyond saving. we are very happy.

We are new to squamish and our friend recomended this vet. We took our senior dog Sunshine to see Dr Grewal last week. He was losing interst in food and losing weight. The vet did a bunch of tests and then cleaned his teeth. We are so happy at his progress. They will be seeing my other dog soon.

My dog Tucker got into something this weekend and the vet came in specially to see him. He made him ****and we went home happy. He did not insist on keeping him overnight or do expensive tests. Thank you Dr Grewal for your prompt response to my distress call. Will be recommending all my friends to see you soon.

My dog Marley was rushed to Alpenlofts clinic after showing severe signs of illness. The staff were amazing and very informative. He was treated for hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and released the next day. After researching many vet websites I discovered how serious and life threatening this disease can be if treated incorrectly or ignored. The vet did ALL the right things and I am so grateful for everything! Marley is back to normal today. Also the cost for treatment was VERY reasonable. Thank you for everything!

My was attacked by another dog and was chewed badly. He required internal and external stitches as well as a drainage tube.They did an excellent job and didn't charge too much.Thanks again.

Since I became aware of this place I have taken all my animals here. I have had no concerns with the veternarians and would highly recommend them. They have always taken the time to explain to me what they believed was in my pets best interest and why leaving me feeling secure in my decision making process. Also their prices compared to anywhere else I've been for basics such as vaccinations are excellent. Before they arrived I would take my animals to North Van for their vaccination and even including gas cost be paying less for all six there than I would for three of them here. The vets at Alpenloft have also performed surgery on two of my dogs both with excellent results. I highly recommend them.

I took my cat to this vet for a simple gastrointestinal problem. My cat was healthy and in good spirit. One half of an hour later my cat was dead. They said it was a problem due to a simple injection given IV. However my cat had this type of injection previous with no such complications. This was my first time to the Alpenlofts Vet Clinic and under NO circumstance will I ever return. The staff where indifferent to having killed my cat. In fact they didn't want me to be present during the procedure. I had to demand several times to even see my cat which was being kept in the back room.
