Nothing but great things to say about this place. Dr. Kammy is wonderful,and every staff member I encountered were friendly. they provide exceptional services, resources and follow-up routinely. I couldn't be happier with them.

Don't believe the bad reviews. Take it from someone who has been taking their pets here for a decade. They are the best. Yes, transition happens in any business. They have done nothing but improve over the years and you absolutely can go to a shelter or a dirt-cheap "vet clinic" but remember that you get what you pay for. My babies deserve the best and that's why I will always take them to the best clinic: Westside. The price reflects the service and the technology available.

Excellent service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this clinic to friends and family. My pets have always been well cared for, and I know they are in great hands when we visit!

If things were going well at this hospital, they wouldn't different vets every time I came. I was just getting to know one of the vets when I came back and found out she was gone. Replaced by a new vet. Wonder who it will be next time. It was better when Dr Bonder was there.

Realistically there can never be a perfect experience in any business providing any service. Some prices are not favorable and sometimes I have to wait a bit to be seen. The vets are knowledgeable and they try to provide options when it comes to treatments. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful.
I don’t have any horror stories - ultimately my pets are very healthy and happy. I go to this clinic (I have been to two other clinics over the years) because I want to pay someone money to ensure that my animals are taken care of, so far this has been the case. I haven’t had to shop around for competitive prices (also my cat is not a vehicle); Westside seems to be on par for this part of the city. Ratings are from "Bad" to "Good". Realistically, I have had good to excellent service consistently across the board. As for monetary value, I've had significantly more instances of relief when pulling out my wallet than frustration. Also, my pets come home alive, so kudos all around!

I have been taking my cat to the clinic for three years, she just had her check up and vaccines. thank you to the team for taking time to answers my questions! my kids loved being a part of the exam.

I am very surprised by the comments that I see below. I have always found the staff to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen both dr. Lam and Dr. Mendonca and I had no problems with either of these doctors. They were very caring and seemed to show true concern for the well being of my pets. I have never had anything but a wonderful experience at this hospital. Prices are higher then what I was used to out in the country, but they are no more expensive then any other city vet. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends (and have in fact done so a few times in the past). Wonderful hospital:)

Seem disorganized, They keep me waiting in the exam room too long. I waited in there for 30 minutes before someone even noticed that I was there.Receptionists are nice though. There are better clinics around.

Disorganized clinic and the vet in charge tries to come accross as though she cares. But in reality she could care less. Clinic is soley about the money. Nice vet staff but they need a different leader, and the clinic needs to find a real honest heart.

My dog were seen by Dr. Bondar since he opened, now he is gone it is all about money. When I went in today to get flea medication for my 18 yr old, healthy little dog. They told me I could only get it if I paid them $75 for an examination which he did not need. I have been taking him there for 18 years. I will definitely be going elsewhere in future. These people are all about money and assume that I am totally ignorant about the care and health of my own dog.

This was a good vet clinic until the original owner left. When I tried to find out where he went to they refused to tell me and tried to get me to book with them. No way. Dr Bondar has been my pets get for almost 20 yrs for a reason. Pet comes before money. I tracked him down and jumped ship. He's at Green Lane Animal Hospital. - S. Ranieri.

A very clean clinic with knowledgeable staff. They were willing to spend the time answering all my questions and called within a day just to check up on my dog to see how he was doing. Would definitely recommend to my friends/family.

Very pleased with this hospital. I found the staff to be extremely friendly, true animal lovers. Every time I have been here I see the receptionists come out from the desks more then once to play and pet Dogs that were coming in :). I have seen both vets and feel they are both wonderful, they spend time discussing things with me and giving me all my options but I never feel like I am being pushed to get unneccesary things I don't need for my animals. When my cat was sick they called me the very next day to check up on her and see how she was doing. I am disappointed in some of the other reviews I have read on here as I have never had any problems with this hospital. I highly recommend them :)

I had the worse experience today with Dr. Mendoca! I was seen twenty min late and they never bothered to clean what looked like blood off the counter until I placed my puppy on it. Then, I was explained in medical terms instead of layman terms of Everything my pup needed. All these shots fir this and that at least 3 on top of what the pup came with from the breeder. It wasn't even including her rabies shot!!! My all natural dog food that the breeder really inforced wasn't good enough and the best part is I told Dr. Mendonca how after eating and drinking quickly my dog vomits ... She recommends x-rays and stomach meds! I told her straight I can't afford that and it's my 2nd dog that I'm trusting with there care. My ten year old has never been treated by her and I'm glad. Oh ya and I asked her if she had some Benadryl in case my pup had an allergic reaction like the last time... $5 for a pill and a half... Ur friendly staff doesn't fix the greed!!!

SALES SALES SALES!! MONEY MONEY MONEY!the staff and the doctors are super friendly and seem very caring. I personally think they have been trained to be excellent sales people. So good that they should go sell cars! We were quoted between $1000 to $1500 more for a simple procedure. When I called another vet and decided to switch, WestSide Animal Hospital had the nerve to call my new vet to find out how much they charged. They called me too to say that they reviewed their quote and realized that my dog doesn't need all the things on their list so the estimate would have been over $1000 less than the first quote. How many other people have they misquoted? They should be reported. I do NOT recommend this place ever.

The staff here have treated my animals and myself with respect, dignity and friendliness. The service that we get at Westside is unparalleled, and definitely deserves the 5 rating I gave it. The doctors are always caring and explain things thoroughly to make sure we understand all the options we have. I've never felt like I was steered toward products or services that weren't essential to my animal's health, and in the right situations they will also tell you things you can do at home. This vet is the best one I've ever been to and I have had many pets in my life. For the record: The only reason that I rated the price as a 4 and not a five, is because I think that all vets are overpriced and no one will ever be happy having to pay for healthcare either for themselves or their pets, but I do believe that they do their best. I can't recommend them highly enough! LOVE Westside!

Brought my cat and dog here for a few years however I could not justify the prices they were charging. Thank God I found a stand up vet a little out the city which conducted the same procedure (this vet quoted me up to 900 dollars)for for under 200! and the care and service was even better. Bottom line this place looks at your wallet and not your pet!

I brought my dog here and they charged me allot of money to determine what was wrong and to treat the problem. After the treatment was over and didn't work, I began to ask what was going on, I soon discovered that they didn't examine my dog the way they told me they had or had charged me for. I was upset and told them to re-examine my dog, to determine what is wrong or refund the near 1000$ they took me for. They denied my requests, told me not to come back and when I asked for the medical records, which I received 2 weeks later, they matched all my complaints.
I went to a new vet, soon to discover that Dr. Bondar was telling my new vet his rendition of what happened, using things I said out of context-my promises to take him to court –making me out as an ass and it’s working. It appears that Dr. Bondar actions are now hampering my pet receiving the proper treatment who is now facing death, if he doesn’t receive the proper surgery. Thanks Westside Animal Hospital!

I have been talking my cats here for a few years. They see Dr. Somer who is a compassionate and caring Vet. She has great listening skills and allows you to fully speak about your concerns and then provides suggestions and recommendations. She never seems to be in a rush and gives our cats the attention they require. Dr. Bondar is also a Vet there. I have dealt with him in Dr. Somer's absence. He is a good guy who seems to be passionate about his work. I will say that he is not for everyone as he reminds me of a character Jim Carey might be in a movie. He is very frenetic and talks A LOT. As a result of this you will notice that you never really get to finish many sentences because he talks over you. He is just not the kind of style I prefer. He is knowledgeable and also has a radio show. All in all I recommend Westside Animal Hospital. Be sure to ask for Dr.Somer.

I have had the worst experience ever...these people IMO are only concerned with one thing and one thing only... profits. They spend more time recommending and/or prescribing products that no doubt achieve this goal, taking complete advantage of their position and level of trust
They failed to, at every level to follow standard protocol in determining the illness of my pet, According to the advice of 5 other vets that reviewed the file at hand. One Vet even said to me “I guess you’ll think twice before bringing your pet there again"
Furthermore, when I confronted them about these matters, I was told that they would no longer treat my pet
The only thing that these people did right-IMO was collect their money (including the 29.20$ they charged me under "Blood Collection Fee” for sticking a needle in his leg to draw blood)
They lied to me on more than one occasion about the procedures that took place and continue to change their story with each conversation-worst experience ever!!
