The vet, Meredith, was friendly but the office staff are disappointing at best. I called to make an appointment about my young dog’s ongoing issues with diarrhea. The receptionist was judgemental and questioned why I hadn’t brought him in sooner. I told her I had spoken to the vet on 3 occasions about the issue. She said there were no notes on my dog’s file and repeatedly asked why I hadn’t brought him in sooner. Then she proceeded to tell me I should buy their special digestive diet kibble as a first option. Which made no sense since I had spoken to the vet on 3 occasions already about his diarrhea and the vet hadn’t suggested buying their digestive medical food. Them receptionist insisted I try their digestive food before making an appointment. So I decided to go to another vet.

We've been going to this clinic for over 15 years now. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the vets and the staff. All of our pets have been extremely well cared for! The folks at the clinic are knowledgeable, kind, caring and compassionate.

We had to put our old dog down recently and the staff at SSAH were so kind, very helpful during the entire process. Definitely going to keep coming here with our younger dog. Prices are reasonable for the area. Everyone here genuinely seems to care about animals and enjoys what they do, it shows in their work.

We foster cats and this usually ends up being the go to vet that the organization sends us to. The staff are very friendly and the facility is clean and brightly lit. I can't comment on the monetary value, as we don't see the bills but they have been very good. The vet has had to change the scheduled appointment dates on us on a few occasions to make room for emergency/urgent care of another animal so I've docked marks on punctuality.

I have been a client at this clinic for years. The doctors and staff have always been very compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Silver Springs Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a new veterinarian!!

I was not too impressed with this clinic. They charge a LOT of money for things that other clinics do not charge as much for (ie. tests, consults, etc). The one vet we dealt with was chatty, and not very compassionate to animals... "oh, who cares if your dog has x or y disease, who cares". Seriously?! This same vet also prescribed medications that caused my dog to develop additional illnesses because she didn't know the side effects of the medication. The other vet was ok to deal with. However, when my dog got sick and I needed to see someone ASAP, they made no effort at all to squeeze us in. I was told to wait a week until someone was free. My dog was VERY sick! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The vets there are great as well as all the staff. They have taken our dogs in when there were emergencies without appointments and treated them - always caring and looking out for the animals best interest.

I live in the NW and took my new puppy in for her shots and all. The vet was really wonderful and helpful. The clinic itself is in great condition and is very well maintained. The only issues I could bring up would be a few times I've had to wait past my appointment time due to a chatty vet which truly wasn't a big issue since i had the time to spare. Now the costs on the other hand i did find to be a little on the higher side of things so that was a bit of a downer.

We are breeders who have worked with Silver Springs Animal Hospital for a few years. They are fantastic! We have run into MANY Vets who are more interested in your pocketbooks than your pets. But, Silver Springs Animal Hospital is what ALL good Vets should be! From the front desk to the Vets, very professional and great to deal with. Unfortunately, we stopped dealing with Silver Springs Vet when Dr. Ania Planzik made mistakes with our boy's health testing. Thankfully, Dr. Planzik is now with Cornerstone Square Vet Hospital in Calgary SW so Silver Springs Animal Hospital is who we highly recommend!
