I have been taking my dog here for ten years. The staff is amazing, kind and they get to know you and your pet. They have never over charged us , compared other vet clinic I have used in the past. The office is always clean and sanitary. Doctors are always kind ,patient and comforting to an already stressed animal. This place is a gem.They dont try to make money off your pet.

I have rabbits so my vet choices are limited, the last clinic I went to (see my other review), never spent more than 3 to 5 minutes with me, so when the doctors at this clinic give me half hour or 45 minutes for 1/4 the cost, I am so pleased. They are thorough and listen well, and seem to really care about all animals. An example: they charge whatever you want to pay for nail trimming (minimum $2.00), and then they give it to charity. I LOVE this clinic.

This clinic practice is full of wonderful staff, the clinic is always clean and presentable. Dr. Rix is an awesome vet and handles her clients well. Compared to some of the medicine practised from the other vets in the area, hands down, if I have any veterinary related questions... Falconridge animal hospital is the place!!!

I wanted to share my experience. Returning from our 3 week holiday our family cat was in serious trouble. Shockingly thin and weak. I was referred by a friend to FAH. The staff over the phone were friendly and patience with me, same in the clinic. Dr. Rix is a honest, caring, professional vet doc. My cat had to be put down and was very upsetting. They provided Euthanasia in our house so all the family could say goodbye to our wonderful kitty. I thought the prices were reasonable, even cheaper than vet to go. I would recommend this animal hospital and Dr. Rix.

I have been taking my cats here for about 5 or 6 years now. The staff is great - they all remember me and my beasties, and I have never had any complaints with how they treat them or my wallet. What brought me here initially is that they offered the best price for spaying my cat (without being too far away). What kept me coming back was how good they are with my animals. I won't take them anywhere else!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE !!!! THEY ADMITTILING USED EXPIRED SNAP TESTS TO TEST OUR DOG FOR PARVO.... TOLD US SHE TESTED NEGATIVE FOR PARVO WITHOUT WAITING FOR THE FECES TEST TO COME BACK..... DID UNNECCESSARY INVASIVE STOMACH SURGERY ON A ALREADY SICK AND DIEING DOG FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. DOCTOR ANN MARIE IS NOTHING BUT A CROOK THAT CANNOT FOLLOW A SIMPLE ORDER OF OPERATIONS. NOT ONLY DID THEY PUT MY DOG AT UNNECESSARY RISK BUT THEY LEFT A PARVO INFECTED DOG IN A ROOM WITH MANY OTHER DOGS ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE PROOF OF MY CLAIMS PLEASE EMAIL ME AT traviswclarke@hotmail.com and I will be happy to forward you a copy of my $5000 B.S BILL

I have always had very good experiences going to this vet. Dr Marion and all the staff have been nothing but supportive and caring. They treat my cat so lovingly and everything is explained in a way that I can actually understand! I found that the staff at Falconridge Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond to give my "baby" the best care possible! I don't think I could thank the staff enough for all that they do!!

I most certainly would recommend Falconridge Animal Hospital. Dr. Marion and her team are very knowledgeable, eager to assist, with great understanding to your needs and concerns. We have never found the business to be money hungry. I believe Dr. Marion takes great pride in her interest and care of your pet and ensures only the best. Our needs have always been met in a timely and considerate manner. From a clinic that we previously came from - this clinic is highly recommend without hesitation.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Falconridge Animal Hospital. I adopted a "dump dog" (Sampson) who came with a few health issues, and along with my other rescue I needed someone reliable and cost effective for my "boys". Dr. Marion has been wonderful, she always makes me feel like my dog's well-being comes first, but also that she does care about the cost for me. Sampson required orthopedic surgery and despite not performing the surgery I still received a phone call from FAH asking how he was doing and to reaffirm that if I needed anything to let them know. I recommend this clinic all the time!

I have a very fearful dog, and the front staff at Falconridge are accommodating. Dr.Marion is very patient and works really well with her. I never feel rushed out, which has happened at the vets I went to before Falconridge. It makes what can be a very stressful event, a little less.

My Golden Retriever, Morrison, gets very excited when he realizes we are getting out of the car at his vet's office. If he could talk, he'd tell you it's his favorite place to go. Pearl, Megan, Lindsey, and everyone at Falconridge Animal Hospital knows his name when he walks through the door. The staff take time to come hug him (Morrison hugs back by leaning into them) I think it speaks volumes when the pet, himself, loves going to the vet. We also have a hedgehog with health troubles and we were very comforted by all the time Dr. Rix took to discuss with us the options. She has a great deal of knowledge and nurturance for all creatures. This is a warm, caring environment. I cannot stress enough how much they've meant to my family and our pets. We have seen, I believe, all of the vets & technicians here, and each one is dear to Morrison's heart. If he could talk, I know he'd tell you it's a place he feels loved & where they always make him feel better when anything is wrong.

This vet clinic is by far the best I have ever been too with any of my pets. I can not say a single bad thing about any service they have done for any of my pets. All of the girl remember me when I come in or call to book or even ask a question, if I have a emergency they worked things out and got my dogs in when I really needed to get them in. They love all types of dogs I have two pitbulls i bring in and it's there favorite place to go other then home the girls are all so friendly and very caring they feel bad when something is wrong or if you have to put your pet down. The girls were in tears when I had to put my cat down and that showed tome they really do care about the pets they take care of. If I moved out of town I would come back to Calgary for vet care from them only. I would recommend any one to to go see them they really are the best you can find. I appreciate them more then words can explain!!!!

The customer service I have recieved since the beginning is impecable. Great communication, weather it be in person, over the phone or via email. I have always gotten my questions answered with accuracy. The staff are always polite proffesional and knowledgable. Our previous vet cost almost double and would insist on drugging my dog for tests. At Falconridge they dont insist on unessecary drugs or procedures. I would definately refer anyone to Dr. Rix. Thanks for your continuous help and support in caring for Brody.

I've been taking my pets to this clinic for approx 10 yrs, 1 cat, two rabbits and 4 dogs have all been fixed and/or had other surgery performed at this clinic, it is a well run established clinic with most facililties in house, very pleasant and professional staff, certainly not the cheapest place around but the value is there and I will continue to take all my pets to this clinic

I love this vet clinic. I am new to Calgary and was beyond pleased with this clinic. They always call and remind me of appointments, after any procedures or needles they call and check up to see how my little girl is doing. I would recommend Falconridge clinic to anyone. It's a shame that there's such negative feedback for this clinic. We have a foster dog and another dog and they have always received the best of care. I know there were vets there previously who were after the $$$ but the vets who practice at this clinic now are great.

ALL this clinic wants is your money! As others have said, I too was charged for procedures not done. I have walked away from this clinic before, and now again even with the new vets, I'm gone. I sure hope people check the reviews before going and check your bills if you do go.

The staff and doctors at the clinic are great, but I will never bring my girl here again. She had an allergic reaction and an infection and they put her on the wrong dosage of the medication and it didn't clear up. She went for biopsies, cultures, etc, and all she did was give me a double dosage of the SAME DRUG and a different bath for her foot. After all was said and done it has come to over $900. This is appalling! They put my girl through unnessicary procedures for something that should have been treated correctly the first time. Beware; cash grab!!

Was charged for unnecessary procedures! Was charged for same thing multiple times! My pet was a mess after surgery! Will not use this vet again and will advise anyone to seek care for their pets elsewhere, this clinic is just after your money

We just moved to Calgary and were looking for MediCal dog can food for my 5 dogs. Since we buy large volume, so i called around to check the price. When I called, Jackie quoted me $2.40 per can over the phone, so I ordered 2 cases. Just before I left the house, I called again to re-confirmed the price and another gal also quoted me $2.40/can price. But when I arrived there (in the rain), Jackie wants to charge me $3.08 per can. I asked her what happened to the price she quoted me over the phone, she just shakes her shoulders and said she doesn't know where I got that price from. I insisted she quoted me over the phone, she then said she doesn't remember where she got that price from? WHAT A JOKE! Be careful this is a BLOOD (MONEY) SUCKING place. If you bring your pets there, you may just end up spending more without a choice. STAY AWAY!

Fantastic staff and knowledgeable vets, all of whom go the extra mile. Anytime I've had an emergency, they've managed to squeeze my pets in and have been really helpful. I get postcards reminding me when the vaccines and deworming doses are due. And they take the time to phone if you've forgotten. The vets take extra time to ensure that you understand what is wrong with your pet and what needs to be done. Super service and great quality of care.

After my puppy got slammed in the door by my son the closest vet was falconridge...I took her there and all they said was "oh...ya we dont have time" And i said well shes no breathing and she still insisted that they didnt have time...and told me to go somewhere else. Needless to say we now dont have a puppy because she passed away on route to another vet. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST THIS VET TO ANYONE AND I WILL TELL MY STORY TO ALL.

I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I have tried others closer when I moved to a different city, but always go back. If anything happens that I want to talk about they listen and rectify small issues. I can be very frank in speaking about my animals, and I appreciate the doctor's frankness too. They have very well trained staff
