DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! The vets are wolves in white coats! They only appear to care about you and your animals. They will string you along, and bleed you dry.

The office staff are rude!!! By far the worst hospital around! I have taken my pets there a couple of times and have seen dr McGee, land, and Sadowski. They are all good doctors but overall the office staff are nasty. The nurse that I had the last time I went in was more concerned talking to the girl at the desk about her boyfriend rather then doing her job. I had long wait time and it was annoying to see staff standing around talking rather then helping me. I'll never go back there! All they care about is money!

I brought my dog for a routine visit (vaccines/check up) and asked to have her nails clipped....not only did they charge me for it, but they injured my dog in the process. They took her into the back to trim her nails, and the next day she woke up and couldn't walk. I stupidly brought her back there to see what was wrong. Not only did they charge me yet again, they said she probably had a cancerous lesion on her brain causing the paralysis. Come to find out, when they cut her nails, they injured her back and she eventually recovered. I'll NEVER go back to Freehold Animal Hospital again. Not only did they hurt my dog, they charged me ridiculous rates and suggested and performed unecessary tests. They screwed me out of hundreds of dollars and their bedside manner was non-exsistant. They couldn't have cared less if my dog lived or died, and what's worse is I could tell. Screw you Freehold Animal hospital. You are a bunch of money hungry jerks.

Will never go there again. Brought our cat in for an initial visit, a doctor came in the room for all of five minutes and then sent a tech in to spend the next half hour going over the invoice and trying to sell various medications etc. The next visit our cat was scheduled to be spayed, the office failed to call and tell us that the dr. scheduled was on vacation. We convinced them to have another doctor do it instead of having to chase down our cat to bring her to the vet a second time (she was terrified). After the spaying we asked about an ecollar, they told us it wasn't necessary etc...sure enough a week later we brought her back, her sutures had opened and she had an infection. The corrective surgery was several hundred dollars. The office and staff are unprofessional and only concerned with making money, if you care about your pet DO NOT bring them here!

Freehold Animal Hospital was taken over by VCA about ten years ago, and it changed from a compassionate, locally owned veterinary service to a glossy, multi-service, high-end facility. The individual vets are all good, but the huge staff is somewhat mindless, especially the large number of apathetic, unknowledgeable young women who run the desk. Because they are now owned by VCA, they gouge as much money as possible from patients and do not listen to reason. My cat had a URI recently and was prescribed a $ 70.00 antibiotic in three boxes, two of which were unreconstituted and unopened, expiring 7/2011. When I tried to receive a credit for the unopened boxes because the cat was throwing it up-or at least exchange them for a pill , they told me they couldn't take the unopened boxes back or give credit toward other medicine. I'd told them I've been out of work and had scrimped to pay for the first appointment. Unless you are independently wealthy, do not go here. I'm disgusted with them
