Moved from Aurora to downtown Toronto and still trek back to Aurora with our pets. Dr. Doug and his team have cared for our pets their entire lives. (12 years) We find them absolutely wonderful in every way.

I have been taking my cats to this vet for years, recently, I have noticed a lot of changes in the reception staff, and the quality of new staff is not as good it was. It changes the entire feeling of the vet clinic. Prices are going up, but that is to be expected, and parking is atrocious. Dr. Doug LeGallais is an excellent vet, but I hardly get to see him anymore.

This is a group of caring vets and staff. I don't get the other complaints regarding their competence but perhaps a mistake was made. I have never seen it with my visits with cats and dogs. Fair pricing and honest and reliable care is my experience. They have never gouged me. Never have been pushed for additional tests or procedures and, in fact, have suggested otherwise, looking for less expensive and more senisible alternatives. They always ask what I think of the recommendation and consider my wishes on behalf of the pet. Comparing other vets in this area, they are a breath of fresh air. I would never take my pet anywhere else.

Shopped around at several vets before settling here. WONDERFUL with my dog, greeting at HER eyelevel. No pressure for unnecessary tests/treatments/medications during the course of our years together. Extremely comforting & available during end of life care; never felt rushed or had my concerns minimized in any way. Always available & frequently in touch to see how we were doing during critical care period. Extremely knowledgable & on top of things. Very caring people, comfortable atmosphere. Couldn't ask for better. Recommended them to several pet owners, would again & will be returning to their care for future pets, without question. Having a medical background myself, I have full faith in their knowledge, competency & level of care provided, coupled with a very compassionate attendance to our needs. Only downside is the parking lot; kinda tight & few spots, but I've never gone & not had somewhere to park. All staff is wonderful & treats you as family. Can't thank them enough.

Very expensive. Not knowledgable AT ALL! Dr. Nora confused my cats kidney and told us it was a tumor and she would need to be euthanized! Xrays showed that whoopsies! Was just her kidney! We will never be going there again. She also diagnosed our cat based on guessing. She admitted this to us. We also had to keep her overnight and they refused to feed her the food we brought, instead they offered her stupid perscription food. When we got her home 28 hours later she couldn't scarf her food down long enough. We gave them one more shot. The next time we went was with our other cat for vaccinations. They REFUSED to give him a rabies shot because they claimed his previous clinic gave a 3 year, when my paper work obviously stated one year. They also claimed he needed $2000 worth of dental work, but our new vet only charged $500. Absolutely terrible. Never go here!

Nice people, but not knowlegable. Keep on guessing what to do next and want to do more tests. Every time for a charge of course. if you want to get results without breaking the bank, be careful.
