Wild Rose Cat Clinic is amazing - the best in the city for taking care of our feline family. Very considerate, thoughtful (of cats and their humans) and take very good care of the animals. I will never forget the kindness and consideration the staff showed us in the care of our kitty, Fuzz and in his final moments.

I have been bringing my kitties to this clinic for 5 years now and I would like to disagree with the last review. Everyone is friendly, accomodating and the atmosphere is inviting and professional. Dr. Liz Ruelle's incredible thoroughness and detailed explanations of everything is wonderful. Patient care at this clinic is top notch, and my cats are always happy. Last spring we lost our 18 year old girl. She very quickly went from an arthritic but happy old kitty to having serious health issues which Dr Liz and Dr Stephan immediately supported us on. They explained the possible causes the tests and the risks. We tried a few options with surgery as the last. The day before surgery she spent the night on fluids and meds to be monitored. We visited the day of but found her in a fast and hard decline. She waited to say goodbye. The staff were heartbroken like us. They had done all that could be done and taken good care of her. I don't blame them for her passing I thank them for their care.

I was at my wits end with a hyperthyroid cat. He had the I131 injection to try and combat the disease which failed. He proceeded to drop more than 2 kilos within a few months and was not eating or drinking. Dr. Ruelle and her staff brought him back from the brink and he is now a happy healthy cat who can enjoy his remaining years. I highly recommend this clinic as the staff are wonderful and Dr. Ruelle always takes the time to follow up and is very good at explaining in plain English what is going on.

The next day we brought our cat home from Humane Society, my cat had very bad diarrhea. I took him to the vet, they did couple tests. I had to pay $250 the first visit. They didn’t do anything to help the cat diarrhea, just asked me to switch to different cat food and wait for the test result. Couple days later, the vet called me and told me the test result didn’t show any diseases. She wanted to do more testing. She gave me list of testing which would cost around $400. She kept calling me. Her wordings made me felt guilty by not bring my cat to her for immediate treatment. With that much money, I would have to look for other alternatives. Fortunately, I found Dr. Liz Ruelle. She knew right the way what needed to be done. The next day after we saw her, my cat was getting well and I certainly didn’t need to pay that much money. When I ran out the pills for my cat, I just called them and they had it ready for me to pick up. Dr. Ruelle was very patient to reply my email and e

We have been taking our cats to this clinic for several years now, first working with Dr. Phipps and now Drs. Ruelle and Van Winckle. We found ALL clinic staff to be top notch: compassionate, knowledgeable, and skilled. When I needed to learn how to give fluids under the skin, Jamie taught me a method much easier than I was shown, helping me feel much more confident in my ability to provide this necessary service for my cat. One of our cats is a high-needs kitty and the other is 19, so both need more than just regular checkups, often on an emergency basis. We appreciated the referrals to specialists when necessary to help diagnose and treat our special companions. The staff and doctors have never failed to provide great care, often going above and beyond to do so. Please keep up the good work, folks!

4/4/11: This is in response to the rating written on 3/30/11 from someone who may have the wrong clinic! I am a client with 2 cats who goes to Willow Park Feline Clinic and I personally know for sure there is NO vet at that clinic by the name of Dr.Roulle! Now, at WPFC there IS a Dr. Elizabeth RUELLE, who is also the practice owner and the doctor my cats usually see. Now, going by your comment date of last Wed.Mar.30th...well, I myself went into the clinic last week on Tues. March 29th/11 and was told hmmm...."Dr. Ruelle is on vacation and OUT OF THE COUNTRY....until next week, returning back to the clinic for regular appointments on Tues. Apr. 5th/11!!" So I think some clarification on your comments are much needed here!! And, f.y.i....'MY' Dr. Ruelle is a great understanding, supportive, compassionate vet...so I think YOU are speaking of the wrong clinic!! Signed 'pardon me!'

I would highly disagree with the first rating. The staff is fantastic at this clinic. They truly care about the welfare of the pets and the pet owners. Janet knows all of the clients and is so incredibly helpful, and the vet techs Peggy and Jamie are wonderful. Both Dr Ruelle and Dr Phipps take the time to make your pet feel comfortable and make sure that they are doing what is in the best interest of your cat. My cat has a number of problems with allergies, and just recently had his teeth cleaned. He had to have a few teeth pulled due to cavity's, and Dr Ruelle actually gave me her cell number to call if I had any issues. She also spent almost an hour, after hours to talk to me about my cat's care. The prices are very reasonable, and they do wonderful things for cats in need. My last vet would charge me $30-40 to get my cat's nails clipped, and they charge $7 and it all goes to charity. Anyone would be lucky to have either Dr Ruelle or Dr Phipps as their vet, I know I am.

Staff is extremely friendly. I was greeted as soon as I came in. Atmosphere was calm and my kitty enjoyed the dog free environment. Dr. Ruelle was fantastic. She seemed caring and compasionate and had a genuine interest in the well being of my cat. She takes the time to explain what was going on with my cat (vomitting) and to explain the choices I had for treatment. This is a cat only office, so I felt that they understood cat health problems better than a multi-animal office. I will be returning!
