I have three cats and two chincillas. I LOVE this vet! It's hard to find an exotic vet and they really know their stuff. My chinchilla's were assessed very thoroughly and Dr. Otka has sooooooo much experience working with all kinds of critters. While I was waiting in the lobby, there was a bearded dragon, ball python, and duck there. You really never know what you are going to see at the clinic here.
This veterinary hospital has three vets that work here (all on different days) and I have had my animals seen by all of them and adore them all!!! Not only did the doctors shower my pets in love, but the technicians here really go above and beyond for both you and your pet. Thank you Noank Mystic Vet for everything you have done for my furry family!!!!

If at first you are impressed with the pretty saltwater fish tank be advised, the way he pays for them is most likely the result of the cost to come, as it pertains to your pet. From my experience with this vet, he is a privateer, plain and simple. He sells medication that can be obtained over the counter at a fraction of the cost to you but for twice the cost and half the effectiveness, advises and badgers for unneeded tests, and banks on your ignorance or concern for your pet to get away with what he does. From what I have observed he has no genuine concern for the pets brought to him but he will gladly take every dime he can with a sad look on his face and a finger pointed at you for not having enough money to make your pet well; if there is an actual hope for saving them or not.

This place is filthy. They over-charge. The staff doesn't listen. The under-educated/inexperienced staff scared the crap out of my dog- literally. While my other dog was howling at them. They ignored the stress they were causing both dogs and did no allow me in the room. Then, I was charged an extra fee because they needed more staff to calm my animals?!

Dr Otka and his staff are excellent, I would reccomend this hospital to anyone. He cared for my 2 dogs who are prone to ear infections because they have very large ears. After seeing dr otka they haven't had anymore ear infections. He knew what to do right away treated them and talked to me about preventive care also wich was so helpful, they haven't had an ear infection since! Thank you Dr. Otka!

Caring and compassionate veterinary care in a beautiful village. The hospital is very clean and "homelike". with a great staff. Never any waiting times!
