We've been using Dr. Jeff and the Aldergrove Animal Hospital for many years with various older cats & dogs and drive out to Aldergrove from Port Coquitlam to do so. The facility is bright and clean and the staff are knowledgable and caring. We've never had a bad experience! Additional bonus is a "low stress" room that you can ask to use if your pet is completely nervous about being at the vet which helps tremendously in keeping them calm and makes for a more accurate diagnosis. Pricing is fair for the services and I always feel like we have been well taken care of.

I highly recommend the veterinary services offered at Aldergrove Animal Hospital. I used to volunteer here as a student and can attest to the high quality of care that patients receive behind the scenes and how each staff member treats the animals as their own. They are all about ensuring your animals are well taken care of and will do their very best to serve you and pets. I recently went to have my cat examined by Dr. Raceeta MacKenzie and was extremely satisfied with her service, as she addressed my concerns and was not pushy with extra treatments. Very helpful and well informed/educated staff!

This clinic is THE BEST of THE BEST all in one GREAT facility! Did you know they have an underwater treadmill for dogs and cats at The SPAW? They also have a rehab therapist named Jenn who is super friendly and really knows her stuff. They offer massage therapy, chiropractic, and acupuncture and have great hours. Reasonable cost. The vet clinic is professional and has a board certified surgeon. Dr. Jeff is smart and gives you practical advice. He won't waste your money. New vet Dr. Raceeta is kind and does chiropractic and acupuncture too. Techs always follow up to see how your pet is doing and take the time to teach you what you need to know to care for your pet. BEST VET EVER!

Dr. Bowra and the staff here are great. From the phone call to book the appointment to the actual visit was an amazing experience. Everyone at this clinic was friendly and attentive to my dog. While waiting for my dog to receive treatment the girls up front made me fresh popcorn, and a coffee. Best experience ever highly recommend this clinic. Thanks Dr Bowra and all the staff!

I will not return because of the pressure to buy unneeded and unwanted treatments. We required an update on our golden's vaccines. The doctor did a full physical although he had just done one three months previously. Pressure was also on us for teeth cleaning, behavior training and worm treatments. I came to pay my bill and he had added over $200 for worm pills we did not want or need. I have many years of medical training and know when something is necessary.

I dont know what some ppl are complaining about. Dr Bowra and staff as amazing. They have always been there for me and my animals in the time of need, and are so caring and compassionate. I would never take them anywhere else even if you paid me. So to the ppl complaining maybe you should remember that these doctors are doing everything they can to fix or treat your pets that cant talk and tell them where the pain is.. And lastly I appreciate all the follow up calls to check in on my pets well being, thats why I keep coming back cause that shows you care...

I suppose if this was the only vet clinic you have been to, you would consider it adequate. I had one visit here for an emergency/convenience matter. You cannot pay me to ever take my pet there again. Dr. Bower was frantic, seemed overwhelmed, and unable to manage his work load. Kept changing his answers he gave to me. Seemed unable to make up his mind. Also, started arguing with the other part-time vet there, right in front of me, and my dog....which made her even more nervous. Stapled my dog's shoulder, due to a gaping bite wound, sent her home without any pain med and only 6 days of antibiotics. Yes, raging infection (my guess is due to not being flushed out/cleaned before staples) Not to mention extreme pain for 2 days. My questions were answered very condescendingly, and basically I was told that if my dog stops eating, then I could worry. Other than that, suck it up!

Dr. Bowra had looked after all my dogs ever since starting practice. I would still use him if I hadn't moved to Alberta. He is one of the most caring and compassionate vets I have used. All of my pets were cared for beyond my expectations. He & his staff are professional and caring in all ways. Abby and I truly miss the care given there.

We have used this vet for years. Dr. Bowra is excellent and his staff is amazing. I love them and recommend them to everyone I know looking for a vet. We always feel that they really care about our animals and that they aren't trying to get you to do unnecessary tests/procedures. Dr. Bowra is very knowledgeable and if he doesn't know the answer, he looks until he finds it. We have moved away from the area, if it didn't take us 5 hours to get there, I would still use them! Excellent rehab facility there also.
