Finally after living in Langford for 16 yrs, I've found an excellent vet. Dr Wolfe is very knowledgeable & caring. Reasonably priced, too! Highly recommend!

I would never recommend Dr Rolfe to anybody. Rescue dogs should've a Titre test instead of over vaccinating- allergy pills, antibiotics followed. He kept telling us how healthy our dog was ready for a leg operation-which he wanted to do many times in the last 5 years every time he was limping- while completely missed his stage 4 cancer. Not to mention the fact that he has done a cancer operation on him last yr-one he send for biopsy was benign. At the end he prescribed one antibiotic after the other, with an inconclusive urine test but no blood test for kidney infection, he guessed. Baby wasn't eating much, was puking, No wonder he had elevated numbers in the liver-when finally a blood test was done, weeks later. He ordered an ultrasound then a liver biopsy at the same time_ our baby never recovered from that. He was filling up with fluid because they could never stop the leaking after the biopsy_3 days later we had to put him to sleep in another Vet hospital.

I am so impressed with te staff at Thetis Heights Vet Clinic!!! They (especially Dr.Rolfe and Annie) went above and beyond while helping out my little dog! I had my 2 young daughters with me and they were very sweet and included them. I highly recommend this clinic!!! I know I won't go anywhere else:) Thank you for the exceptional service!!!

Wow, I'm surprised at the poor ratings. I think Dr. Jay is great - he sometimes gets behind schedule, but that's because he always makes sure to answer everyone's question. You might get into your appointment a bit late, but you won't be rushed out the door. My dog loves going there, he's always treated kindly. My cat hates going there, but that's because she's a cat and she hates going anywhere. ha ha! If you're looking for a vet in the Langford area - try this one out. REally convenient if you're on the north side of the highway, too.

I went to this vet and was quite pleased with his overall treatment of my dog, however, when I tried to renew his prescriptions the vet was generally too busy to phone in the renewal and suggested I reduce the dosage because of convenience - it isn't about convenience it is about my dog's needs. Doing follow up once again in my home community that is 375 kilometers away

This clinic has gone through a bunch of changes, but now that Dr. Rolfe is back, and there is a nicer receptionist, it's great. The doctor is really friendly and obviously loves animals. He is very thorough when he looks at my pets. No complaints at all.
