We took our sweet pup here for 3.5 years. In all the time that we were there we never saw the same vet twice. In all the time that we were there they failed to inform us of the serious health problems that my dog had. More about that later. We recently decided to go to a new vet after this vet just wasn’t cutting it. First off, they have always seemed a bit unprofessional and quite inexperienced. It definitely doesn’t feel like you can truly trust them. Things just don’t feel personal enough here. They all showed a lot of love towards my dog but that’s where the good ended for me. The last time we took my dog here, we asked that titer tests be done to measure the immunity my dog actually has against a disease instead of vaccinating just because. Let me say, overvaccination is a huge concern for me. I am absolutely against my dog being vaccinated when it is unnecessary. Overvaccinating just destroys a dogs immune system, not something I want. When we asked for titer testing to be done,

Heavily overcharges. Not enough vets in area but I will drive farther for better care for my dog.

Love the Dr and staff at Oak Leaf! They are very caring and compassionate people. I compete in dog sports with my dogs so their health and well being is paramount! They see me promptly (unless an emergency comes in) and do their very best to answer my questions to understand what ever is going on with one of my dogs. Last year we lost 3 babies, 2 to advanced age and one to a sudden grave illness. When the "time" came, everyone was so understanding and allowed me the time to be with each of them and say goodbye.

After my second visit and two long waits, I will not use this vet again. I waited 30 minutes to see the vet today, and saw the vet for 2 minutes and the charge was ridiculous.

Dr Wiechman and her team are EXCELLENT. It took just one vist to know this was the vet for our little ones. The doctor herself made the follow up phone call to see how our cats were doing. Great customer service. Her prices for care are reasonable & in the same range of other local vets. We highly recommend Dr Wiechman to all our friends and family.
