Dr. McFarland is an amazing veterinarian and has obviously mastered his craft. It is apparent he enjoys working with animals, treating their ills. I highly recommend him.

Simply the BEST !....My best friend (who has many dogs & cats) pointed me to Dr McFarland so that my rescued dog could get her initial exam , shots etc. The Doc and his staff have always been a pleasure to work with. It is a first rate practice that is run with compassion and respect for both patients and their "parents". Dr McFarland is very thorough and determined in trying to get to root cause of any issue and its treatment. He is very much aware of the latest in vet medicine. I wish my "people" doctor was as good as Dr McFarland!:-)

THE BEST VET! i run a small not for profit no-kill shelter in Pattison, Texas. in am VERY picky on who treats my "kids"...since they all came in abused, or with issues! Dr. Mcfarland and his staff are so caring, and loving to all the critters they treat. Dr. Mcfarland is a brilliant doctor who keeps up with all new techniques, medications, and treatments. he ALSO is humble enough to call for second opinions if he feels there is a need. **perfect example of his kindness....he was having a client party on a saturday. one of me dogs got seriously ill. Dr. Mcfarland stayed late, kept staff there on a saturday to do surgery on my baby. one staff member gave me the most special final memory....this same dog needed to eventually be put down, and she.....as sort of a doggie last request gave him a donut! i cannot express how warm my heart felt even though i was doing the unthinkable! letting my baby go! :(.....take my word for it....THE BEST OF THE BEST! My kids and i love Dr. Mcfarland! :)
