PLEASE READ THIS
Dr.Charach is extremely arrogant. The staff is under skilled and mismanages simple tasks. They nod like they are listening but they forget everything. We waited for medication for months several times now. We call, leave messages & hear nothing. Spent $3000.00 plus. Dr.Charach’s also argues with his staff in front of patients as witnessed on several occasions by different pet owners. They DO NOT mention RAW FOOD and its high success rate because they want you to come back for a long drawn out expensive evaluation using their supplies. This is a business! They DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET! They will upsell everything in house if you have a credit card. Horrible scenario capped off with morons that work there. My suggestion to Charach: find a better staff, spend our money on improving your services, delivery & be a more responsible business owner. You are “very lucky” to be the only option otherwise your business would be squished by another professional business.

I have already rated this doctor on their other page "Animal Dermatology Specialists of Vancouver", but it would be more fair to rate this clinic as well since I ended up bringing my dog here instead (the receptionist/assistant at the other clinic is very unprofessional and rude). The staffs at this clinic are friendly and polite. They answered every questions I had and were able to help me work around my tight schedule. The specialist is very knowledgeable and asked me a lot of questions with regards to my dog. I am very impress with the progress my dog made since the initial appointment. Thank you doctor!

At first I thought it was a little bit expensive here, but then I thought about how much I pay to see my regular vet for a 20 minute appointment. Then I compared that to the hour and a half long appointment I had with a specialist who actually knew what was going on with my dogs skin and it was totally worth it! The veterinarian was very knowledgeable and easily answered all of my questions (even though he repeated himself a few times!). Overall, I was very satisfied.

Dr. Charach and Dr. Bajwa were both so professional and helpful. They easily identified the cause of a serious skin condition that had baffled my local veterinarians (even though the MRSA infection was likely transmitted during their surgical procedure) and they took time to explain both the cause and the prescribed treatment program to me. They were a positive comfort to me during a very difficult time I am very grateful for their expertise and their kindness. The only negative for me was the rather dire state of the treatment room itself. The room was tiny, bleak, windowless, and furnished with a cheap metal examination table next to walls adorned with yellowed newspaper clippings and a poster displaying photos of animal excrement. It's a true testament to these fine veterinarians that my shaken confidence was completely overcome during our consultation! I also appreciated Dr.Bajwa's unexpected follow up call to check on my girl's progress. With sincere thanks, S&B

Good doctor, good staff and the best is that my dog is doing so well after being miserable with skin and ear problems. Very pleased!

The bottom line with this clinic is money. My little dog is worse off now than she was before I started the expensive testing and shots! AVOID!

I am not sure what the above reviewers were expecting. This isn't a bargain basement animal hospital, it's a specialist. If you were to go to a specialist you would be paying more money too for your own health too. It was nice to visit a doctor who was able to clearly identify my dog's skin problem and not just make random guesses and prescribe things that didn't work like my normal vet does. I was never "sold" anything that wasn't what my animal needed to get better and now that he is 100% it's a WORLD of difference. You may pay more on your visit but in the end it's cheaper than a hundred visits to a regular vet trying different treatments (and paying for that visit and prescription every time)

This is a horrible clinic aimed at extortion from its costumes and uses underhanded forceful sales tactics. And this is aside more charging an arm and a leg to begin with. Save your time and money as you will put yourself and your pet through stress to learn nothing. I had such a bad experience with this vet that i even reported my situation to the bc veterinary college
