I had never used this vet before but my dog was very ill and my regular vet didn't have an opening for my cat Sydney. Dr. Mintzer's staff stayed late to get me in and Dr. Mintzer fixed the bladder blockage that would have killed Sydney by morning. I'll always bring my pets here

I have been really happy how the vets here treated my dog ever since I moved into Poughkeepsie 3 years ago. They first saw Ayla when I tripped over her and broke her leg! It was at the end of the day and the receptionist called Dr. Mintzer who had left for the day. Even though I was not a client, he came back and treated my dog. Since then I've brought her in for routine care an a few illnesses. I've been totally pleased with the doctors and staff. They're top notch

I have been bringing my pets here for the past 2 years. The office is newly renovated and is quite attractive. The staff seems very sincere and care about my pets. They know Mittens, Kit Kat and Bowzer all by name and always are able to get me in pretty quickly, especially if one of my pets is sick. The doctors (I've mostly see Dr. Mintzer) are top notch. Not only do they seem up to date with their knowledge but they truly seem to enjoy what they are doing. I've recommended the office to my friends and all of them are happy to be going there with their pets

Just ask to see where your pet will be boarding, not just the newly enevated are, the one where you will here all the uncared for dogs barking
