Our dog needed dental surgery, and after receiving a quote from a Calgary vet we decided to shop around. Cochrane Animal Clinic was $800 cheaper! Staff were awesome and took excellent care of our girl. We have switched clinics and will happily make the drive for great care and substantially lower prices.

Great, compassionate clinic who accommodated us right away. They knew we weren’t going to be long term clients as we were from out of town, they just wanted to help cause they cared about our pet. Wonderful staff and great prices, beautiful clinic too. They even gave my dog a toy for it being his first visit

After years of great service at I had a terrible experience when I put my cal on steroids. I was cautioned that his dose needed to be reduced gradually --2 tabs for a week then 1 tab for a week Before it was time to reduce his medication a 3rd time, I went to the clinic to find out how much I should reduce his medication in the 3rd week. I was told that only his vet could provide this information and she was on holidays. In the next week, I called several times and my cat's vet was away , on days off, not able to come to the phone. I asked if there was someone else in the clinic who could provide this information and was told no. I asked my vet to leave me a detailed voice message about his next dosage. "No I need to speak to you on the phone" was the only message I could get by voice mail. Steroids can be potentially dangerous. It was very frustrating not being able to get the information I needed to provide the correct dosage to my cat.

I had the worst experience with a vet ever today, they were only after money and did not even address my concerns with my dog at all today. I've seen a lot of vets with my dog and this is by far the worst one ever 452$ for 30 mins of time. I still have a concern with my dog and I have a bunch of meds that I explained don't work on him.

I have used this clinic since moving to the area approx 9 years ago and think it is the best vet I have used in all my 25 + years of having animal family members. The staff and vets are always friendly, helpful and informative. They are also caring and sympathetic when the family has suffered the loss of an animal. Cannot praise them, or recommend them, highly enough.

I have been taking my pets here for several years. I have spent thousands as I have had 6 pets, 4 dogs and 2 cats. They have been spayed and neutered, teeth pulled, vaccinated, emergency visits, and I have always paid my bill after each visit no matter the cost. Today, when my husband and I are facing the worst financial situation and are unable to afford it, one of our dogs woke up sick, shaking, vomiting and diarrhea. We called the vet, hoping that this once they'd see him on the house but not only did the flat out refuse to see him if we couldn't pay, they never even offered that we pay later or pay in instalments. They even suggested that we SURRENDER our pet to the humane society!!! We were shocked and disgusted that they'd turn a sick animal away because they couldn't afford treatment. I will never return with any of my pets again!!!

I find the vet very knowledgeable. She is concerned about my dogs and making sure that I feel that she takes the time to insure that I understand her answers to my questions. The staff I encountered were friendly.

I've used this clinic only a handful of times, but the one vet there that I did like has left. The vet that I've seen the other times is abrupt and has a terrible bedside manner. I felt that he treated the animals as products rather than living, feeling beings. My concerns seemed to irritate this vet!
