had to take my dog for euthinasia and they gave her not one but two shots of a tranqualizer that didn't help then gave her the final euth. vet explained the tranqs were so she wouldn't struggle ( the dog had had a stroke). needless to say 40 minutes later after a mommy fit they gave her the final shot and it was over in minutes. she spent a needless half hour in misery. why tranq a dog that can't move any way and let her suffer
