Dr. K is an EXCEPTIONALLY WELL QUALIFIED VETERAN. He performed surgery on my dog that was a success. I was referred to Braeside Veterinary Clinic by a relative who also highly recommends the Veterinarian and Staff. I have worked in both human and veterinary surgery for many years and researched many of the top veterinarians and clinics. This is why I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRAESIDE VETERINARY CLINIC and completely trust Dr.K’s qualified care of my prized K9.

This guy is a joke. He basically killed my cat. I took him here as he was not doing well and he told me he had a low body temp and dehydrated. He administered my cat some fluids and told me to take him home keep him warm and feed him with a syringe. My cats conditions worsened so I went back to him. Told me the same thing. I asked several times why this was happening and he didn’t have a reason. I took him to a different vet and with in minutes they had a result. He had diabetic crisis and now was to late to do anything. I had to put him down. After I calmed down I called to this vet and asked him why he didn’t do blood work. He told me he didn’t think I could afford it and that he was surprised I was able to keep my cat alive for as long as I did. How insulting.If he did blood work when i first took him there the issue would have been found and a simple insulin shot would have saved his life. I do not recommend to take your pets to this man . He is a complete joke

Over vaccination occurs at this clinic. This vet recommended a FIVE dose parvo series for my puppy. She had November, December, January (Before we got her, by this vet) We were told she needed another dose in February so we brought her here, to the same clinic she was at before. He then recommended yet ANOTHER shot in August. I did my research and called other vets in Calgary who recommend THREE.. There is ZERO documentation on a 5 dose series. I called the vet to discuss and he had not one reason for his over vaccination protocol. MONEY is the motivator here. Please do your research. This place is also filthy and completely unsanitary for any procedures. The vet was also running over 30 minutes late. The receptionist is very friendly, however.

Great knowledgeable vet and have been going to him for over 12 years. Family run business that will get you in when needed and provide the required care in a friendly environment. Dr. Kurt identified an issue with our dog that a previous vet had misdiagnosed and got our dog on the right path. Highly recommend this clinic.

My very elderly and unable to walk dog got put down there and it was a bad experience for him and us. He turned to nip the vet during the first injection and the vet smacked him on his face. I was speechless. Every time the vet came into the room my dog would get defensive even though he was sedated. The vet was oblivious telling me to move so he could be near my dog's face again to do the procedure. I finally got my wits about me and said no. The didn't get mean, but was obviously annoyed because he needed to get to the plugs near my dog's head for the shaver, but I wouldn't go. We finally moved the dog to the back where he could plug in and I could stay near my dog's head. There was a radio blaring and after the procedure was done a loud beep / alarm was going off every 15 seconds. This was a horrible experience for our family and I can't' stop thinking about it. Do yourself a favour and get a vet who will come to your home who specializes in euthanasia.

Dr. Kurt was our vet when I was a little girl and he took great care of my dog then. Today he helps us look after our yellow lab and helped us say goodbye to our two cats. Funny he and his wife remembered me from all those years ago.

Dirty inside. Doesn't look like the floors have been washed. The thermometer wasn't in solution when he pulled it out from the shelf, who knows how clean it was. Not happy. Major lack of cleanliness here. Never has the medicine my pet requires and won't order it. Gives me one I don't like.

This a wonderful vet clinic run by Dr. Kurt and his lovely wife. They are so caring and will fit you in even when they are busy. Dr. Kurt is very kind, gentle and soooooo compassionate to my cat. Highly recommend!

The vet from this clinic was very rough and traumatized my domestic short hair cat. Now, my cat becomes so stressed at our vet clinic that it takes 4-5 staff members to subdue him. We usually have to sedate him just for a check up. Please avoid this vet clinic.

Terrible clinic, were kept waiting for 30 mins whilst they sorted paperwork despite being the only customers in. a routine innocultion for my 2 cats took an hour and a half. Very stressed cats at the end of it. Avoid.

I am so happy I found such a caring vet to look after my Avi Levine. They will fit you in if your animal is sick even if they are busy. Dr Kurt's wife works in the office and is just as caring as Dr. Kurt. They are both so delightful. I always feel very welcomed when I take my cat there.If you are looking for a vet I highly recommend this clinic, you will not be sorry!!

We have been taking our dogs to this Veterinary Clinic for over 10 Years. Great care and advice for the care of our animals. We have gone to several veterinarians for previous animals but none were better than Dr Weissenborn. The receptionist is caring and wonderful to deal with as well.

I adopted a 2.5 year old dog and took him in to be checked over since the previous owner did not take him to a vet after buying him from a pet store when he was a puppy. This vet simply gave him the shot he'd been lacking, did nothing else and sent me away. I would not recommend him as a vet. He may be nice, but I will not be returning and now need to find another vet, pay more money to get a proper check done. Find a different vet, in my opinion.

Good value and fair advice but the vet can be rough and impatient with your pet. He didn't push the expensive treatment and opted for less invasive measures for our dogs leg injury.
