We have been taking our animals here for twenty years and have always had super treatment.After our dog had a tricky operation recently, they saw him every day for over a week and were extremely skilled and helpful, despite the difficulties of moving their location Top marks for all these vets and helpers.

Dr Rana is a great veterinarian. He gives every patient the time and attention they deserve. I got dental procedures done for my dogs and I am very happy with the results. Now that I have moved out of the province I am struggling to find a vet that I am equally pleased with and realize the quality of service he provides. Other vets have made me feel rushed and that my pets are not getting good quality care. I never felt pushed out the door with Dr Rana, and his prices were also reasonable. I wish I could move back just so I could stay there!

We have been going to Lansdowne Animal hospital shortly after they opened in 1998 with our first dog and now with our second dog and our new rescue cat. Dr. Rana is not only an expert in his field but he has the passion for what he does. We have recommended him and his clinic to our friends. Dr Rana and his staff have cared for our pets in a highly professional and caring manner. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending Lansdowne Animal Hospital.

my dog was hopitalised for 3 days after Spec CPL test result 650+ (normal < 200). IV fluid, pain patches and 4 other medications given. still on medication after returning home for 1 week, two weeks later a follow-up Spec CPL result 900+. hard to believe, after 3 days hospitalisation with treatment.... the result is much higher without any improvement. I cant believe. how to rate this ? what do u think ? go back n keep on the new antibiotic he gave him ?

Staff is so rude. We made appointment, we went on time and wait for an hour and was asked to leave and come back another time, we told them been waiting for so long,but the vet assistant gave me attitude said they are on something more important.

Dr. Rana is very informative about what is going on with my pet. Explained everything to me and my family. His assistant Tanzy is a very lovely woman and very passionate about our pet and our well being. Will recommend this vet to all my friends and family.

Bit of a wait here and it's somewhat costly compared to other vets, but the front desk is desk and very knowledgeable. Cleaner and brighter looking than a lot of other vets. Dr. Rana is friendly and very information. I went here for my first pet, and they were extremely helpful, and even sent me home with a care package and more info.

This clinic is awesome. I just started volunteering there and all of the staff are very compassionate and great at their jobs. Every client I've seen has been very thankful for their time and efforts. Their pricing is very reasonable and Dr. Rana looks at reptiles, which is awesome because if you own a reptile, you know how difficult is it to find a vet around Richmond who will even look at him/her.

Dr Rana is an excellent Vet and staff is very knowledgeable and thorough. Tanzy and Tudor are very helpful and answered all my questions patiently regarding my baby, my new puppy. Very good experience. I will recommend them to all my friends with pets.

Dr. Rana is an excellent vet. He spends the time to do a thorough examination and is very empathetic to the animal's needs. I would recommend him to anyone and I do.

watched Dr. Rana walk in the door 20 mins late for his first appt scheduled for 10 am. no explanation, no apologies, rather rude, not the first time. not clear on his executions, just wants you to sign the papers for his services. took my dog in to get x-rays done & 10 hrs later, Dr. Rana was unsure of his findings. he insisted on the spot for an external opinion and was very vague on his explanations or prognosis. not very helpful for someone in practice for over 15 yrs and still very green and inexperienced. very poor communications and only wants you want for subsequent visits so he can charge you more for no good reasons. wouldn't have taken my dog in if it weren't for a last minute need. horrible experience, 2nd time around!!!

Brought my cat there and I loved the service. Their front/back person Tanzy is very knowledgeable about felines and you can tell from her empathy and positive attitude that she cares for your pet. It turned out my cat had fleas thanks to Dr. Rana with his great and through exam - this man is great with pets and really puts the value of the money you are paying. I will be referring to this client to all my friends and family!!

I disagree with the previous post. We have been bringing our 3 ferrets to Dr Rana for the last 7 years. He is very knowledgeable and always gives us the best options for their treatment. The staff is very helpful and caring too, especially the receptionist.

I do not recommend Dr Rana for Ferret owners, tho he's the vet for PJ's Pets Ferrets. He always seems unsure and too casual when I've brought them in worried about a serious decease (he even suggested to send my ferret's xray to some vet in the US for an extra $70), I usually have to pry info out of him. Currently looking for another vet.

5 years ago my cat was put down at this vet clinic. My cat died on the xray table. They revived him. Not only did they revive him, but they charged for bringing him back and then charged me to euthanize him. I felt however that they were sensitive to the situation. I just wish that they would have let him die instead of bringing him back to lay there with blood coming out of his orifices and suffering immensely. If I had to, I would come back here, but only if I had few options.

We went to a vet prior who just charged us for useless tests and gave no answers. We went to Dr. Rana for a 2nd opinion and he admitted our cat immediately. She was close to death as her liver had shut down. Because of the level of care she received by Dr. Rana and his staff, she is now back at home making a complete recovery. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone who just wants straight answers and high quality care for their pet.

Such a giving, caring & loving greeting the minute you walk in the door. Can't imagine taking my beloved pet anywhere else. The entire staff make us feel very special!! The hours are so accomodating and the location is great with lots of parking. The only vet I'd recommend to my friends!!
