PLEASE, DON’T TAKE YOU PRECIOUS PETS THERE! In Dec. 2018, we took our dog in to get a leptospirosis vaccine. The staff took her into the back ostensibly to weigh her. She was there for a long time and when the girl brought her out she was in a complete state of panic, trying to get away from the girl. My wife rushed over to take the leash and still our dog was in a frenzy. My wife called her name several times before she snapped out of it. Gemeinhardt did a cursory examination and gave her the shot. (Which turned out to be an overdose). Our dog was frequently licking the left side of her mouth. On inspection we found that the left canine was pink from internal bleeding. What exactly happened while our dog was in the back, we don’t know. But, what we do know is that when we took her to Tsawwassen Animal Hospital she was fine. When she came out she had a damaged tooth, severe pain and a fright of Gemeinhardt that she never had before. We, as well as others, consider this animal abuse.

Very caring staff, Dr Gemeinhardt is world class, highly recommended, you should have no concerns that your pet is receiving the best treatment possible.My cat had a tumour and everything possible was done to save her.

I am so happy I went here! The staff were accommodating and very friendly, both with me and my dog. Dr. Tina Gemeinhardt was very articulate and clear with her insights, and she did not push for medication where she felt none was needed and promoted natural options to deal with my dog's red eyes first. Her assistant communicated very well how to use the medication we did get for her ear infection, and went through how to use it very thoroughly. The desk staff fully outlined all charges and even completed and submitted my Petsecure form for me, and they were happy to do so. A fantastic clinic!

Wonderful Vets who make you feel like you are the most important appointment of the day. Absolutely amazing staff who obviously care about each and every client and pet that is brought into the hospital. Would never dream of going anywhere else!

This is for sure a wonderful place to take pets for care. I have been going here for many yeas with my 2 cats and dog. The best care always. Yes, maybe a little on the pricier side but the treatment and care towards my pets is worth it. Dr.Tina is like super woman. Mother of 2 boys and pets of her own. I don't know how she does it. She's is so kind hearted. When my dog died, the clinic sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my home. Just a great vet! Reccomend 100%

Both the staff and doctors are nice but the prices are very expencive and would not recommend to lower income clients

Very friendly and compassionate people. Take whatever time is needed to explain things and answer any questions you may have. Taking excellent care of my 15+ yr. old dog. Give you every treatment option available and let you decide what is best for you. They also give of their free time and expertise spaying and neutering stray cats found in the community,and always have cats and kittens available for adopting. Can't say enough good things about the Tsawwassen Animal Hospital.

This veterinarian hospital has the best vets and best staff, bar none! Since moving to Ladner, we have been taking our animals to them for care. My sister suggested them to us because she has used them for many, many years. What I love about them - compassionate (for the humans too!), caring, professional, highly knowledgeable - giving you all options available, and willing to go the extra step in everything they do. Tina, I wouldn't DREAM of taking my babies anywhere else! Sorry, but we are in your hair for life!

The BEST of the best! Dr. Tina and the entire staff at Tsawwassen Animal Hospital are exceptional. Their dedication and expertise in veterinary care saved my senior 12-15 yr. cat who went missing for nearly 1 1/2 months, probably without food and water from her apparent condition. She was on death's door. If you want the most efficient, compassionate, best care for your pet, go to Tsawwassen Animal Hospital.

I've been taking my pets to this vet for 20 years now. They're extremely compassionate, friendly and clearly love their "patients". We even took our hamster in with a back injury, and the vet explained the situation in clear terms to my young daughter, stressing that while the chance of a full recovery was small, there was still a chance (she recovered about 90% use of her legs) They focus on quality of life and never push expensive treatments. Options are explained, opinions given, but decisions are left to you. I would and have recommended this clinic to anyone.

i'd like to know what others have to say about this place. seem to be pretty decent, but a bit pricey.
