I can't say enough about the quality of care that Dr. Gary Levy & Clare Guichard gave my cat Sybil over the last several months of her long and happy life. They went far beyond what most people would expect to help me including squeezing me in and staying an hour after hours on a Friday night to do X-rays and blood tests rather than wait till Sat. a.m., and then making a house call on Sat. to put her to sleep at home. They treated both Sybil and me gently and with compassion. The only improvement I can suggest (which Dr. Levy said they're working on) is soundproofing; the echoing, unmuffled sound (and seemingly amplified by the natural acoustics throughout the suite) of dogs barking in the kennels are nerve-wracking to a sick cat and their owner, esp. while blood is being drawn and other tests are being done. Also, the entryway often smells strongly like dogs, so more attention needs to be paid to using an odor-neutralizer. Even with these flaws, Lakeview Vet is the best in the city!

There newest Vet Dr Clare Guichard does an excellent job at taking time to explain to the pet owner the who/what/where/why's of procedures and exams. She is a compassionate caregiver, and seems genuinely interested in what's best for our dog Sampson. The rest of the staff is friendly and extremely helpful, and the facility is spotless! A++
