While experiencing a terrible tragedy I felt as though Ringo and I were surrounded by angels.
My sweet little guy passed away suddenly in emergency surgery the other day. His illness was quick and his death was unexpected. From the moment I walked into FSAH with my very unwell Ringo until the very end BOTH of us were in empathetic, kind hands.
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.
Support this team! They’re awesome. (10 stars is not enough).

Dr. Batruch has been my go-to vet of choice for my now 13 yr old dog, and despite having moved to a different neighbourhood and having tried to use a more local vet, I have gone back to Front Street Animal Hospital because my trust-level is simply much higher with them. Dr. Batruch and the team have a more ‘realistic’ approach which I feel is especially important with a senior dog and I don’t feel like I am being given advice for unnecessary services.

We are extremely horrified at the service we received yesterday for our dog. The vet was working 2 appointments, refused to do an x-ray, forgot to give pain meds but managed to send my husband home with a pamphlet for medicare card for a surgery he is not even eligible for at this stage. I was rushed through everything on the phone and made to feel like if I didn't have the surgery and bring him now he had no hope. This is a big decision that should be treated as more than a financial transaction. He was properly diagnosed with IVDD by another clinic who put him on a treatment, fully explalined the cause, prognosis and potential options now and going forward. She felt it was so urgent to get him into surgery & push us for all these costs & get us emotionally upset but it didnt warrant her full attention. I'm thoroughly disappointed & will be recommending to everyone we know not to use this clinic.I am so grateful we went with our gut and got a second opinion from a qualified doctor

I have always had great experiences here. The front staff is always kind, informative & friendly . Everything is always clean & smells fresh. I have always gotten detailed explanations about any procedures, treatments, medications or diets that are recommended to me. Dr.Elduayen has been my veterinarian for alwmost 2 years and I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly & down to earth Doctor. He never suggests any unecessary treatments & is always looking out for what is best for my pets, as well as keeping things minimally priced. When I got my puppy Dr.Elduayen spent 20 minutes in the appointment teaching me about vaccines, possible reactions & signs to look out for. He also explained what to do on my own, inexpensively, if my puppy did have a reaction. I always recommend this clinic and couldn't be happier with their services. Vet care in general is expensive, & in my opinnion this clinic is competatively priced compared to the others in the area. Just a great clinic.

They almost killed my chihuahua puppy by giving her an unnecessary vaccination!!! They did not warn me before vaccinating her, that this vaccination is 1st of all -> not a must at all and 2nd of all -> that there are serious life-threatening side effects after this injection. But again ...they only tell you this AFTER the vaccine is given ...
Best of all they... charged me afterwards for the rescue of her and told me that they do ME a favor for charging less. So do yourself and your pet a favor and go to a more skilled vet. This will be also reported to the www.cvo.org as this is just outrageous as all they care for is making money!
What other vet has a doggy grooming salon in the same clinic where there operate and using the same room facilities....?!

Dr. Elduayen is immensely caring and skilled - the perfect combination. He saved our dog who was very ill and has successfully treated him long-term. He is mindful of cost/expense as well, and in my opinion, does not recommend unnecessary treatments. Dr Elduayen also makes you feel great during the appointment, as he is very friendly. He's also very helpful by phone at the times we have needed him
