The low rating of this clinic doesn't reflect current circumstances. The ownership has changed. All the negative comments relate to the original vet, Dr Topolie. I liked Dr Topolie and his care of my dog was first rate. He had 40 years of experience. The new vet is Dr Yessa. This vet is simply outstanding. His care of my old Golden was very kind and very competent. At the time of this writing there were 3 vets working at this clinic, Dr Yessa and two vets from Columbia who were working towards their Ontario certification. The collective amount of knowledge here is truly impressive. In the end Dr Yessa and one of his Columbian colleagues came to my home and euthanized my dog, saving him from a painful death. It was all done with warmth, dignity and professionalism. I highly recommend this clinic. If I could ever bring myself to get another dog, this place would be my first choice.

My old cat was really sick, I took her to the clinic to find that she has kidney failure. Dr.Abraam sit with me and explain everything slowly then he gave me some options. we started the treatment and thx God my babe is coming back to herself, Highly recommend

Took my cat in last summer because she was wheezing and I thought it might be asthma. He started pulling out tufts of fur and told me I was mistreating her for not brushing her (actually, she was stressed, and CATS SHED.) Then told me I was diagnosing her, and her wheezing was from feeding her meow mix and that I should feed her Iams (of course he sells Iams in his office!). He berated me for interrupting him when I probably asked one question the entire time I was there. I understand needing to be abrupt with people but he is just plain rude and has no people skills. I will never take my pets here and I will tell everyone to stay very clear of this clinic.

I recently had to put my loving dog to sleep by this Horrible man. My heart was breaking when we took her in for that final Good-bye. My wonderful daughter went with me & Thank God! The Vet had actually left for the day? After calling him back he walked in the office without a word ..Nothing? My daughter & I were in tears & this was a disgusting display of insensitivity knowing why we were there. He never did speak a word only to tell us he would give Mya 2 needles. My dog was scared & I hugged her the entire time unable to stop my tears. After he gave her the sedative he said to watch she doesn't fall off table & left. The receptionist entered & asked me to 'settle up' before proceeding? I had to leave her & go pay first for procedure & my dog had added stress that I left the room. My daughter said she tried to jump down.AN ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS WILSON ROAD VETERINARY CLINIC. I paid & returned to hold her until she passed. In ALL that he never spoke one kind word to Mya

again desk nurses are awesome.That vet.. hmm. Go somewhere else. Unless you want to be treated like a kindergartener. He needs people skills. And rough handling with my dog.

Dr. was rude. I ended up paying over $800. for a dehydrated cat, whom they insisted remain 3 days overnight at their clinic. They told me if I took her home, it would be "cruel" of me. They also ran expensive tests and told me my cat had "brain damage and would never be the same". This ended up being untrue. They used guilt and scare tactics that were unnecessary, due to my emotional state over my cat.
