Click to report rating    5/6/16   5     5     5     5   Dr. T. J. Cutler is the best veterinarian ophthalmologist I have ever known and I am sure will know!! Not only is he very knowledgable and skilled but he is also very caring, patient and explains everything in detail. While other eye vets didn't care much about operating my little Julie's cataracts caused by PRA because eventually she would get blind anyway he encouraged me to let her be operated at 9 years of age. As her cataracts developed very suddenly because of the PRA, Julie got very depressed and didn't want to get out of her crate anymore. On the same day of the surgery she was already a new dog when she woke up. Dr. Cutler's right arm, Nicole, and the rest of the staff are the best!!!! After that I have taken all of my other 6 little dogs for him to examine and I wouldn't use any other vet ophthalmologist!!! RID: 60504
Click to report rating    11/25/15   5     5     5     5   Dr cutler gave my dog Winter's sight back. He and his team were extraordinary in all aspects of the procedure and importantly how to care for Winter after the procedure which is so important to ensure a good result. Looking into winter's eyes and watching him reconnect and do all that he had before was the best gift ever for my dog and my husband and I. I highly recommend this surgery and trust dr cutler and team !!! RID: 59077
Click to report rating    11/21/15   5     5     5     5   I have a 5 lb dog whom I love like a son, and he developed cataracts. I am a healthcare provider myself, so imagine how strict I am when selecting a provider. I completely trust Dr. Cutler and his staff the well-being of my baby. Their services are comparable to those of a quality human center, yet the prices are fair. They really care about the patient and the outcome, not about the money, as unfortunately it is seen in many vet offices. I was scared about the anesthesia because my baby is so small, but they kept me posted and reassured throughout the process, and explained how they utilize advanced anesthetic and monitoring equipment that greatly reduces the risks of complications. Also, he has a tremendous amount of experience: I invite you to see his bio, he probably knew how to treat patients before he could drive a car (his dad is a vet too). Needless to say, my baby dog is doing great, his quality of life has improved greatly, and i couldn't be happier. I recommend Dr. Cutler's RID: 59041
Click to report rating    9/7/15   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cutler and his professional staff were so compassionate and kind during the examination of my Pug, Bruce. Dr. Cutler is totally in his element while discussing the pros and cons of the procedure for Bruce. He is beyond knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable in understanding the procedure. He was honest and answered any and all questions we had. I would recommend Dr. Cutler in any capacity. He is wonderful. The facility is immaculate and rivals the best "human" hospitals in the largest cities! I hope you heed this advice if your pet ever needs the service of an ophthalmologist. Thank you Dr. Cutler and Staff! Annette and Vincent Famulari RID: 58307
Click to report rating    9/4/15   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cutler and his staff are the best!! My horse was treated for an eye injury. I don't think that my mare would be able to see today, if it weren't for the skill and care of Dr Cutler. Not only is he a wonderful surgeon, but he takes good care of the patient's family, also. He knows your concerns, and keeps in constant contact, checking on the progress, and answering every question. This was so important to us, because we live on the other coast, and transporting our horse back and forth every couple of days would have been difficult. We were able to communicate progress with photos and discussions. We are forever grateful for Dr Cutler's expertise and kindness. RID: 58289
Click to report rating    8/19/15   5     5     5     5   Dr Tim Cutler, eye doctor, treated my Boston Terrier age about 11 for severe eye problems, with surgery and ongoing medications and checks. He has progressed well, now after a routine 6mo check, and the doctor is pleased with his treatment and my care under his direction. The staff is able to provide support and phone contacts quickly. The West Palm and the Coral Springs facilities are excellent and fully equipped. I have recommended this facility to others. RID: 58104
Click to report rating    5/22/15   5     5     5     5   I would recommend Dr. Cutler to anyone that needs a Ophthalmologist for there pets. He is a awesome doctor and has always been so king and caring for my dog. He is very professional and goes well beyond what anyone would expect from a doctor. I am ever so grateful that I was referred to him. He is thorough and follows up on everything, and his team is always available when you need any advise or tips. They provide a safe, clean and comfortable office as well. Before you try the rest, make sure you try the best. RID: 57109
Click to report rating    5/19/15   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cutler and his staff are compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable. Treatment options are discussed and explained in a manner that a non professional can understand. Phone calls and emails to the office are answered immediately, the patience level provided to the patients is superior, you will never be rushed through an appointment and your pet will be cared for by both Dr. Cutler and his amazing staff as if he or she is their own. While I never anticipated having my dog face 2 major eye surgeries, I could not be more pleased with the care she received every step of the way prior, during and after surgery. I rated "good" on all counts but if there was an option for "excellent" or "outstanding" I would have gladly clicked on those. RID: 57060
Click to report rating    12/26/14   5     5     5     5   Maisy, my shih tzu, and I first met Dr. Cutler when Maisy had a serious eye infection. She was not responding to the medication prescribed be her general veterinarian and was at risk for losing vision in one eye. Dr. Cutler and his team went above and beyond to ensure this would not happen. Dr. Cutler e-mailed me daily to assess Maisy’s progress. He also met me at his office on a Saturday in order to administer repeated eye drops when Maisy’s eye was in need of more intense intervention. Fortunately, Dr. Cutler and his team were able to heal Maisy’s eye infection without any vision loss. Dr. Cutler now follows Maisy routinely for glaucoma. Dr. Cutler is consistently amazing! We are always seen promptly when we arrive for follow-up appointments. Dr. Cutler’s team is easy to reach via phone and always seem happy to answer my many questions or refill Maisy’s prescriptions. On several occasions, I have e-mailed Dr. Cutler at odd hours and either he or someone from his team have responded w RID: 55187
Click to report rating    12/22/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cutler has treated my Miniature Pinscher, Sheba (now 13.5 years old), on two occasions. 2.5 years ago, she developed an ulcer on her eye that would not heal with drops alone. Dr. Cutler performed a diamond burr debridement, and in a couple of weeks, she was good as new. In December 2013, she was diagnosed with diabetes. Within months, she was blinded by cataracts. In July 2014, Dr. Cutler removed the cataracts and implanted lenses. She has had no complications and her vision is excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cutler to anyone seeking ophthalmologic care for their pet. When Sheba developed the cataracts, Dr. Cutler, was the first person that came to my mind. Also, I will add that he, and his entire staff have always handled/treated Sheba with love, and they have always been very accessible (and patient..lol) by either phone or email. In short, I could not have asked for any better treatment than I received (and continue to receive) for Sheba. RID: 55132
Click to report rating    12/20/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Cutler and his staff treated my Westie, Mac, with skill and compassion, enabling an old dog to see for the rest of his life. I heartily recommend Dr. Cutler. There are no guarantees with eye problems, but you get the best there is with him and his team. RID: 55115
Click to report rating    12/16/14   5     5     5     5   I cannot recommend Dr. Cutler and staff highly enough. My dog went completely blind as a result of cataracts from diabetes. He had bilateral cataract surgery and the whole process was made as painlessly as possible. Dr. Cutler and staff took a lot of time beforehand, explaining the surgery to me and letting me know all about it and what I could expect. His surgery was smooth and quick as was his recovery. He has nearly perfect vision and his quality of life is back to being excellent. They have always been available to me when I have had questions and concerns and are friendly, professional, and caring. It is obvious that they are passionate about pets, which is important to someone such as myself who considers animals part of the family. I was never made to wait long, the facility is beautiful, clean, and modern, and well run. Again, I cannot recommend Dr. Cutler and staff enough! I am so grateful to them! RID: 55048
Click to report rating    6/24/14   5     5     5     5   My dog Wylile and my daughter's dog Thunder were both treated by Dr. Tim Cutler and his opthalmology team. I can't say enough good about them, and I know a number of people who feel the same way. They are incredibly skilled, kind, and caring. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a canine opthalmologist. RID: 52240
Click to report rating    6/23/14   5     5     5     5   My dog, Clyde came in almost totally blind and on the brink of dying from diabetes. It was extremely high risk to do the surgery at that time to save his vision but I put my trust in Dr. Cutler and his amazing staff and today he is back to his typical trouble making self with typical vision. He functions as if nothing happened to him at all. Yes, he has to get insulin shots daily and eye drops daily but he takes it in stride and we are thankful to everyone who saved him and his vision. Not only did Dr. Cutler save his vision but he worked with me to make a payment plan to make the last minute surgery even possible. If we would have waited, he would have been blind for the rest of his life. He was is only four so this was a critical decision for his quality of life. I cant thank you enough Dr. Cutler! RID: 52220
Click to report rating    6/8/14   1     4     3     1   RUN AWAY FROM DR? Tim CUTLER. AWFUL SURGEON. HE PERFORMED CATARACT SURGERY ON MY BLIND 16 YEAR OLD DOG. HE PROMISED ME AND GAVE ME DOCUMENTATION AFTER DOING ADDITIONAL TESTING THAT HE WOULD REMOVE MY DOG's CATARACTS AND RESTORE HIS VISION 80-90%. POST OP, MY DOG WOULD STOP ABOUT ONE INCH SHORT OF WALKING INTO THE WALL. TWO WEEKS LATER MY DOGS EYE SUTURE RUPTURED AND HIS EYE DEHISSED....IE, LOST ALL EYE PRESSURE AND HIS EYE GOT SUCKED DOWN INTO HIS EYE SOCKET. HE HAD TO REOPERATE.. COST ME ALMOST $5,000! THE FOLLOWING DAYS AFTER HIS NEXT VISIT HE DEVELOPED AN EYE ULCER THAT DR. CUTLER MISSED ON THE EXAM AND I DISCOVERED THAT NIGHT. MORE MEDS AND EXPENSE . THEN HE WANTED TO REMOVE HIS EYE. DR. CUTLER.. HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT? RID: 52008
Click to report rating    1/23/11   5     5     5     5   Awesome veterinary ophthalmologist! Truly cares about his patients and is a wonderful surgeon. My dogs cataract surgery was a wonderful success!! RID: 22292
Click to report rating    11/24/10   1     5     5     1   Never bring your animal here for eye surgery. Dr. Cutler's cataract surgery had to be repeated on my dog after 24 days of healing. The sutures that he placed in my dogs eye I broke causing my dog's eye to split open & oozing fluid. He had to undergo a second surgery causing my poor animal & I MUCH added stress & costing me an additional $1000 added to my previous bill! My dog can only see up to 5-6 inches in front of him & that is only on an intermittent basis. I had to restart the process all over with the eyedrops & oral medications. I am very dissatisfied with the outcome & cost.I WILL NEVER SUBJECT MY ANIMAL TO DR.CUTLERS SURGICAL PROCEDURES. RID: 21031
Click to report rating    4/3/10   5     5     5     5   Very dedicated staff and doctor, that specialize only in eyes - we loved the detailed explanation and take home notes in case we forgot anything... thanks! RID: 17359
