Our dog has various health issues, and since we originally met Kathy Alcock at another clinic, we have followed her to Ashbridges. She CARES, responds to texts and doesn't order procedures that are unnecessary to pad the bill. You can't go wrong here, Goran is also amazing, and we're equally comfortable dealing with him. They are so wonderful we bring Christmas cards and gifts to them. Choose this clinic, you won't look back if you care about your pet.

The vet, Dr.Kathy Alcock. Is the best. She and the rest of the staff are amazing. They turned a stressful appointment into a great one. My soon to be 15 year old cat was just diagnosed with kidney failure. Dr.Alcock put her on some medication. She also made an appointment for my Suki to see co-worker Dr.Staring. Dr.Staring started Suki on other medication to help. Like I said this clinic is the best.

I feel very lucky to have Ashbridges Bay Animal Hospital nearby. I find all the staff who work here friendly and helpful. The vets in this practice were finally able to diagnose my dog with Cushing's Disease and begin appropriate treatment. He is his old self again. This was such a relief after having another veternary practice treat him for numerous underlying problems but never making the connections. I think this is due partly to the fact that I can see the same vet and they get to know my dog well. My dog has also undergone surgery without any major complications and both vets were available to help with any concerns or questions throughout the process and checked in with me to ensure everything was ok. Dr Hume and Dr Cummings obviously care about my dog and I am very grateful to them. Since my dog is a service dog I am that much more grateful to them for keeping my dog in good health so that we can be a long-lived team.

Our Cat of almost 9 years recently passed of kidney Disease and was under the compassionate care of Dr. Kelly Cummings. Dr. Kelly Cummings and team made themselves available around the clock and continue to do so today. It is less business and more like family. Our cat was diagnosed at a young age and Dr. Cummings took time out of her busy schedule and her personal life to research the best treatment options to help prolong his life utilizing first and foremost natural and affordable options like healthy dietary changes to treatments like fluids and medicines and shots. Ashbridges Bay helped facilitate an emergency run that required life saving procedures early in Tabasco's diagnosis. Dr. Cummings is professional, patient and loving and has both pet and owners interest at heart. We highly recommend Ashbridges Bay Animal Hospital.

Brought my new dog in for an initial checkup. They were very nice, but I felt that $70 for the vet to pat down my healthy dog and look at her teeth was a bit steep. Furthermore, the vet recommended a fecal test, "just to be on the safe side," which I felt was unnecessary. When I went to pay for the checkup, they had already added the cost of the fecal test onto the bill without telling me! I thought that was unacceptable. I am now looking for another vet with more reasonable prices and less aggressive tactics. Too bad, because this vet is very close to my home.
