Our chinchilla was drooling, refusing to eat, and losing weight just a month after having his teeth ground down at a different vet we were not happy with. We came here feeling badly because the previous vet had given us a poor prognosis. However, this vet spent over an hour with us and we left with an entirely different diagnosis (bloat-NOT malocclusion!) and a handful of medications. The chinchilla immediately began to improve and stopped drooling and started eating!! It has been 6 months and he now receives NO medication and has gained 20% of his weight back...he is like a new animal! THANK YOU DR. CHRISTINE!!!
