All about the money and not the animal care. Kept trying to add more test to make more money. Girls are emotionless, absolutely disgusted with the way this clinic is run. Will tell everyone I know to never waste there time going here. The way they treated my daughters cat was horrendous after surgery the pain they cause this cat was terrible and unnecessary. The cat was traumatized and we told them what was wrong with our dog and yet they still didn’t listen we had to tell them what treatment to give her and we were right. Never seen such a horrible display of money grabbing And trying to add on so many unnecessary tests to make more money. Rude staff to boot. Do not go to this vet.

Our senior fur baby passed Jan. 2019 the staff were extremely caring/compassionate. We now have a new fur baby and are receiving excellent info regarding a puppy. As 15yrs. have passed since this stage and the breed difference instances can be a bit overwhelming. We so appreciate all their help. We live in Winnipeg & transferred back to Beausejour after some instances with our local vet. Keep up the great work.

It’s all about the money and how many unnessary tests can be insisted on. Ultimately after spending a lot went to a different vet and the dog got treated and pricing was fair.

Such wonderful and caring staff! We were at the Beausejour Animal Hospital last month. We went there first thing in the morning with our sick Boxer, they took her in right away and started checking her out. They kept her throughout the day and called us with updates. We brought her back home late in the afternoon. Early the next morning the Vet called us to check to see how her night went. Everything seemed to be going good with her until a couple weeks after. After much testing, we had to make the heartbreaking decision and say goodbye to our beloved fur baby. It was so hard, but was made easier with how caring the staff were with both her and us. They explained everything so well to us and reassured us, that as hard as it was, we made the right choice. A couple weeks after, we even received a beautiful personalized card from them. They went above and beyond and we are so greatful for having them here right in our home town!

Brought a cat in and Vet at the time was more concerned about us being able to afford treatment rather than the urinary blockage the cat was rushed in for. It was a 2 hour trip in and cat was already stressed from the car ride and having to deal with his bladder near rupturing. Vet told us that we were required to pay for the treatment prior to giving care! After treating our cat vet tried to push urinary food on us.

I am the director of SSNIP and we have been working with Beausejour Animal Hospital for nearly 2 yrs now and have a wonderful working relationship with them and when we have an emergency, they always meet us there and our dogs are always given the best care and compassion. They have the most amazing staff, from the secretaries , to the techs, and the veterinarians. They are fast to respond to our phone calls and always explain the emergency cases in detail. We have had some dogs hit by cars in Sagkeeng and we have rushed them to Beausejour and the vets took care of them right away..When we have had to let our dogs or pups go to Rainbow Bridge , they helped us through this sad time. We have had alot of HW cases, that SSNIP has paid for and all the staff work along side us during the treatments. We are very greatful to be working with them and their amazing staff!!

If I had to rate them due to past experience they was get a zero hut after years I took my cat DooDooBug there who through weeks of testing and meds has lymphoma. The doctor who has been following her is wonderful and the staff have been great. I'm happy to see it is still operated by Klaus and his wife.
The vet, Dr. Sharon is warm and caring and the staff have all been great. They understand the impact it has on my life and the bond I have with DooDoo.
I am happy I have went back there has opposed to my usual vet in Selkirk who is highly opinionated and cool when it comes too compassion.
I will continue to have Dr. Sharon for DooDoo for has much time as we have together. She is a good doctor and DooDoo deserves the beat.

Many of the doctors here are uncaring towards many of the animals specifically towards horses and stray pets. Prices are ridiculous and appointments were not on time. Found a stray dog in the boiling heat a few days ago, myself having my own pets and not sure if the dog had been vaccinated decided to take the dog to the vet., because it was after hours they proceeded to tell me that they did not want to come in and take care of a dog that has no owner because no one would pay for his care! The staff here seem to care more about money than the pets well being offering more expensive treatments when not needed and not taking in stray animals when they need help. Would not go there if you have the option find somewhere else. Lac Du Bonnet is an extension of Beausejour Animal Hospital be careful of your pets care there too. Will not be taking my pets there again!

I've only had good experiences here, barring one visit with Dr. Dyck. I no longer see her. I've used the clinic for horses, dogs, cats and goats. They became my clinic when they accepted me as a new client after hours for an emergency. I feel they do a good job at balancing costs vs. services, and are honest with you regarding the options available for your pet. I never feel they are pushing for unnecessary services, and they seem to respect my opinion regarding my animals. I am also impressed with the amount care and attention they give to stray animals - I haven't found this to be the case for any other clinic. No business is perfect for all the people all the time, but I've never felt unfairly treated at this one. And they even have some knowledge about goats!

We brought our sick cat there for treatement back in fall, 2011, and although very pricey (Vet's usually are), they did a wonderful job of healing him. I got numerous calls from the vet doctor asking about his condition, which was surprising to me, as I didn't expect ANY follow up, ESPECIALLY from the vet himself..usually it's from a secretary.

Staff have been great to all my animals! My cat Tigger was in a fire, and they did try their best to help him, despite being inexperienced with that situation. They were very honest and said Tigger would have a better chance at Pembina, and I appreciated the honesty! They did charge WAY too much for care provided to him that day! Otherwise have never had a problem.

I have complete faith in the vets & staff at this clinic. My horse just spent a week in the care of Dr.Sharon & Dr. Curtis, She, Tess had a very bad cut on her butt. They even brushed her & took her for walks,to make her stay better. Last year Dr.Eric looked after my lab Lacey, she was attacked by somthing and had an infected horrid mess. I thought that I would have to put her down, but thanks to the great care, you can't tell that she was ever hurt. The vet's & staff are very caring and treat you animals like their own, they explain each procedure so that you will understand exactly what is happening. I recommend them completely.

These people are more concerned with nickel and dimeing pet owners than the animal's well being. I moved from near Winnipeg and when I brought my dog in for vaccinations they charged me $60 to test for heartworm before they would give us the pills, despite the fact the she has had heartworm pills all her life! They refused to sell us the pills without the test, even though we explained this and showed them the old box from the previous vet. Then when we got the bill both the vaccination and heartworm pills were 25% more than in Winnipeg. Next time we will drive the 1 hour to the city, I haven't felt this ripped off in a long time.

A fantastic group of animal lovers work at the Beausejour Animal Hospital! This group of understanding human beings know what it's like to have a pet in need of medical attention. I have been taking my two dogs there for 5 years and am so lucky to have found such a caring group of individuals! Their excellent care of all animals brought into their facility is top notch. Thank you for being such a great group!

These people are angels who are concerned about Nina's well being and not the cheque. They took Nina in, when nobody else would. That speaks volumes.Kudo's to them. They should win an award!! There needs to be more vets like them.

Dr. Eric was so wonderful when we had to have our little dog euthanized. Our dog was suffering and we called him and he came to our house at six thirty in the morning and was so understanding and so kind and gentle. I will never forget that. And what they are doing and have done to help Nina, the dog that was shot is truly commendable.

Mid April 2010: "Nina" an 8 year old lab cross dog wandered into a private yard in Prawda, Manitoba. She had evidentally been shot at close range and had a gaping hole in her throat and jaw. The people who found her called the Falcon Lake RCMP who simply told them to shoot the dog. Considering that would be the last option, they instead took her to the Beausejour Animal Hospital, after calling many other hospitals who refused her.
The hospital has since offered to care for her medical needs and start the repair and recovery process. Nina will need many surgeries to repair the damage. The story of Nina's plight can be seen here: http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/20... I commend the Beausejour Animal Hospital for all the effort and compassion they have shown this unfortunate little girl. They took her in before they even had any guarantees that her vet bill would be paid. THAT alone says volumes about the people who have taken on this task. God Bless you all!
