I want to thank Robyn and all the staff for looking after my cat Snoopy. She was a very special member of our family. When I had to make the hardest decision to have her put to sleep, Robyn gave us the all the information we needed. She was respectful, compassionate and kind. All the staff are so caring and gentle with my pets. I have been coming to this clinic with my pets for over 30 years. I will never go anywhere else. If I decide to have another pet, I will only bring them to the Forest Lawn Veterinary Hospital.

We have four dogs and have been going to this clinic for over 17 years. the Doctors and staff awesome. We get all our food from there as well and are on a first name basis with all staff. I know that punctuality is a little bit lacking , but we understand this as we are in no doubt part of the problem as there are questions to be asked and the doctors do spend the extra time to answer them. The follow up calls are also appreciated, by eitherl the supporting staff or the doctors themselves. One of our pups is 15 years old and on meds, and Dr. Iian called to see how she was doing 6 weeks after giving us the prescription and said a another follow up call will come in a month.They always have room for an emergency call. I have to rate them 10 out 10.

We have dealt with this clinic for 20 years and close to that with Dr. Iain Chynoweth. Dr. Iain and his staff are amazing… caring, compassionate and very knowledgable. Three years ago, we retired and moved 2 ½ hours north of Calgary but still made the trip to Calgary to see Dr. Iain when our girls need their shots or medical attention. After a traumatic life and many years of visits to Dr Iain and specialty clinics, we finally had to say goodbye to our little girl, Biscuit. Dr. Iain and Shawna drove 2 ½ hours one way to our place to put Biscuit to sleep so she wouldn’t have to be traumatized during her last waking moments by going into the clinic. We absolutely cannot say enough good things about this clinic and its staff.
We will never go anywhere else and will continue to take our other dog, Buttons to Iain for her needs. We want the best care and attention for our 4-legged friends and know they will get it from Dr. Chynoweth and his assistants.

I had brought my female cat in to get fixed the staff was amazing! But prices we're super high I paid over $600. When I got my baby home I noticed she had poop stuck to her and pee in her white fur. I felt like she wasn't watched or taken care of well. I'll pay anything to make sure my cat needs whatever she needs but if your paying your cat should be cleaned from the vet. My cat was in pain and I felt horrible trying to clean her up. Disappointed

Took my puppy here today the staff were excellent, very friendly, only thing was i got there about 10 minutes before my appointment and still took them about a half hour after my appointment schedule to get us in but very good vet would recommend to anybody

We have been taking our dog there for 3 years and have always had great treatment! They are efficient, but still take the time to hear our concerns and check out the dog thoroughly. We have always been treated respectfully, and warmly even with our nervous pitbull (who just ends up kissing everyone!) I will always recommend Forest Lawn Vet.

I had an emergency situations with one of my cats when my regular vet was on holiday so I called Forest Lawn and they were able to get my cat in right away. The clinic itself is a great atmosphere and I was greatly impressed with the treatment of both my cat and myself during this stressful and emotional experience. My cat was hospitalized and required x-rays, blood, IV, medication, etc. as her kidneys were failing. The staff was wonderfully sympathetic and updated me several times a day as well as encouraged me to come visit my cat. They were gentle and courteous in discussing the options and eventually I transferred my cat to my regular clinic for further hospitalization and follow-up care, but will never hesitate to go back to Forest Lawn in the future. The prices were average and the care was phenomenal.

Make sure you ask for a perscription from this clinic, if you have to go there at all. You can get the prescription filled at the pharmacy. They are charging much, much higher prices for pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies compared to many other vet clinics.
