Shouldn’t we be the one to make the final decision? Guided by the opinion and advice of a specialist and shouldn’t we be given options? At the end of the day the decision need to be made by the patient/owner, I was given an estimate price of about 800$ to have a mass removed from my dog’s neck, but the Vet informed me that he would not proceed with the surgery unless a biopsy was performed which another 250$, but prior to all that an exam was needed 60 some $.... Really, you have the best interest of my dog at heart? No, I think your pocket full of money is what you’re really interested in. In the end I’ve asked a second opinion to another clinic, they gave me options and they told me that the decision was mine, but most important the cave a choice..

Only use this vet if you do not have a budget and the location is convenient. They push for food plans and life insurance plans for your pet. They also ask for more visits than necessary (less shots per visit) as they charge $67 to check heart and eyes each time plus prescription fees and pricey pills ($200/14 pills) they say are necessary (ticks, ver de cœur). We have denied anything he vet considered non-essentials and after 3 visits the total cost is $620 for a healthy 4mo old puppy to get standard shots (rabies, leptospirosis, and 3 follow up shots from shots administered by breeder). Average wait time at appointment is around 10 minutes after scheduled.

There is only one unforgivable thing about this clinic...taking advantage of sick animals to make money....I spent over $200 for the veterianian to tell me that he didn't know what my dog had. Gave me 5 pain killers and sent me home. Not before ripping me off with $200 CAD!!!! Not only did I have to pay the $67 consultation fee...when I checked my bill, they had charged me over $20 for 5 piils that supposedly cost $1.66....I asked why $20 for 5 pills and they said that there was a prescription fee!!! IMAGINE THAT!! So, on top of the consultation, there is a prescription fee....very well hidden so that people that do not read their bills don't notice. The dr also had tests done without my authorization and of course charged me the due amount ($23 CAD for having the assistant look into the microscope for less thatn one minute!! ABUSE. You want a great clinic? Go to Animal Health Clinic in Monkland...they actually love animals and wont charge you unnecessary fees.

This clinic is for our pets what the Canadian Health System should be for us. Great service, great Vets, Great Staff. I would recommend Dr Melissa Fountaine.

Very nice place, very honnest. Everyone is very friendly here, I take my 3 cats there and they are great! :)
