Prices here are just stupid. We now take our pet to Taber Vet Clinic where the staff are phenomenal and the prices are fair. The EXACT same medication our pet is on is HALF the price in Taber versus Uplands. What a joke. Don't waste your time OR money.

When it comes to my animals I only want the best of care and to have a caring compassionate Veterinarian treating them. The new Veterinarian (Dr. Toma) and staff at Uplands were professional beyond reproach. During my appointment Dr. Toma explained to me the problem my pet was having, the reason for it and how best to handle it. Other clinics I have dealt with made me feel like I was just another appointment; where Uplands dealt with me on a one on one bases not rushing through my appointment. Whatever the price I would gladly pay to have a Veterinarian that is honest, professional and compassionate when it comes to dealing with my pets; after all they are part of my family. I would recommend Uplands Clinic and Dr. Toma to anyone.

I found the staff at uplands pet hospital to be very caring and supportive. Dr. Toma did a great job with my dog, I left feeling confident after my appointment that my concerns were met and my dog received the care it required and then some. I realize the prices my not be the lowest in the city but I feel i got my moneys worth, my dog doesn't deserve discount services because of discount prices. I will definitely go back to uplands and refer my friends and family as well.

I had a visit with this vet, and my chihuahua with puppies. I was at the office for over two hours!!! I had three puppies for shots and exam and pre/op for mom to be spayd. I was quoted on the phone no more than $400.00 for mom to be spayd, When they printed out a quote they said it would cost me close to $900.00!!! I then phoned around and for the same procedure and dental!! Over night in the hospital I can have it done for $200.00 at Fort Macleod vet clinic!! Not to mention they care about your pet and will work out a payment plan if it is needed!! All in all I will never go back!! All they care about at this clinic is how much money they can get out of you to pay for their nice new buildings!!

I recently bought a new puppy who came with many illnesses at the start. We had to rush him to this clinic as he had hypoglycemia. They acted quickly and promptly gave him the service he needed. What also gives peace of mind is their 24 hour emergency service. We had to utilize this service on one occassion and found it to be quick, efficient and did not break our bank account. Overall, the service we have had has been great. The staff are knowledgable and care about the animals they see.
