DO TRUST this clinic with your pets life. Spend the $$$ on quality care. We booked our beautiful perfectly healthy Cane Corso in to be spayed which is a very low risk procedure less than 0.01% of dogs getting this procedure die. The dog was released not properly sutured blood dripping out . We got home the dog didn’t improve and kept bleeding we called DrSharon who suggested bringing her back to be monitored overnight. They would have someone do a drive by checkin periodically not 24hr monitoring. We called all the 24hr pet emergency pet hospitals in our area no one could see her. Mia died in my arms a couple hours later bled to death ! This is a fairly routine procedure anyplace else . We waited for the clinic to open the next morning to confront Dr. Sharon she looked out of it similar to a drug addict or alcoholic. She isn’t fit for this type of work and from a different era. Do yourself and pet a favor find another place for your pets care. I let wife book this she can’t see like me

Sharon has been our family vet for close to twenty years. She and her amazing staff treat every pet that walks through the door with kindness, dignity and respect. We have always found them to be collaborative and supportive with suggestions for care. Recently, we had to make the hard decision to have our 13 year old golden put down and they treated us and our beloved pet with kindness, compassion and dignity while she calmly passed away. A special thanks also goes to Melissa, the vet tech, who was always helpful and supportive as we slowly came to our decision. If we decide to have another pet in the future, Sharon is the only vet I would consider even though we live out of town. J. Rilett

We have been coming to see Dr Sharon for over 12 years. She has always been kind and compassionate and always makes time to answer our questions thoroughly. She has never pushed a product on us. She is honest and her prices are very fair. We will continue to sing her praises and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a WONDERFFUL vet and a helpful staff.

if you are looking for posh facilities and staff that treats you like a client don't come here. the facilities are clean and geared for comfort of animals and not humans. But if you love your pet then this is the place to come. they will do everything possible to keep your pet's best interest and comfort at heart. Our puppy fell very ill and had to stay overnight for few days. i was v surprised to see Dr Kennedy on Sunday morning checking in on her. even more surprising was how strong a bond they have developed over just a couple of days.

I am surprised by the bad experiences related. I am impressed by the kindness, compassion, expertise and respectfulness of the clinic. They are not out to get you to spend as much money as possible, like so many other vets. You are not forced to do unnecessary and expensive tests 'just to be sure.' Dr, Kennedy is realistic about things. I love that they rescue cat-patients that have inconvenienced their owners with diseases like diabetes and urinary tract infections from euthanasia. I am, in fact, on my way there to choose another companion (or two!).

When I first started bringing my cats here I had nothing to complain about. I trusted Sharon and her vet techs. And I commend them for taking in strays. But when one of my cats got ill, they did not properly diagnose her. She was on a heart medication. I later learned she should have had her blood pressure monitored. This last year she became very ill with kidney failure and I was not given any options for nutrition other than to force feed her, nor was I given any proper meds to make her comfortable. Despite paying thousands of dollars, Dr.kennedy never examined my cat in front of me and never had the time of day for me. All communications were through her vet techs. Vet techs who did not recognize the signs of nausea and pain.

Ive been a client there for 14 years, Dr. Sharon and her team are absolutley amazing! I would never think of going anywhere else, the quality of care and passion her staff has is truly remarkable!

I thought the bunny story was slander but now I agree - do not take your pets here. I originally took my cats here because Dr. Sharon quoted a good price for neutering my male kitten. Then recently my other cat had crystals in his urine. The quality of care was horrible. Dr. Sharon & the vet techs let him languish for 9 days without progress. All they did was feel his bladder and say it was too large to send him home. Dr. Sharon was always in a rush, didn't seem concerned with my cat's lack of progress, and she didn't explain the meds he was on. I kept asking for updates and felt treated like a nuisance. I took him to another vet for a 2nd opinion. They completely changed his meds and he was peeing again in 24h, and ready to go home in 3 days. Mountainside is terrible. The place is filthy, Dr. Sharon is often out of the building and she leaves the business to be run by her (poorly qualified) vet techs. Don't take your pets here. Go somewhere else, pay the money, get quality care.

DO NOT take your animals here for care. A friend has taken three rabbits here; one died after a surgery authorized by the vets, one died after being refused treatment, and one died from an anaesthesia overdose that the clinic then tried to cover up by attempting to WITHHOLD THE BODY from the owners. They also have done unauthorized procedures, charged for those procedures, and withheld the results because they would have made them legally culpable for withholding treatment for an underlying condition.

Dr Kennedy is the real deal. She truly loves and cares for her patients. She takes the time to educate you and to explain all options available to treat your pet. Her staff are friendly and approachable. My dog won't let me drive by the clinic without asking to stop in for a visit...they give him treats and he remembers !

i was very happy with the vet and staff, and was pleased with the price of the services...the smell/cleanliness of the clinic was horrible though. It smells like cat pee and i had a hard time with my cat allergies (i love cats btw). My dog is also afraid of cats and they are roaming all over the clinic. The staff did offer to put the cats away on my next visit. I will definately go back dispite the stinkiness :)

Dr. Sharon Kennedy is absolutely amazing! She has a real love for the animals; and a great attitude with the human parents too. Unfortunately, she could not save my Tigger, but he passed with dignity and love thanks to her.
