We have been going to your clinic for 10 years since Sophie was 4 months old. Sophie loves Dr. MacAuley. All the staff have been great. Have recommended the Clinic to others over the years. We have had only one scarey incident when Sophie was under anesthetic. The attending staff handled it well and gave her good care. …Loretta

Since we began bribing our puppy here it’s been impossible to ever have her seen at this clinic, whether it’s a minor issue that could wait a few days or an emergency. Every single time I have called to make an appointment or have her seen they are booked up for weeks. Other clinics have taken our dog for the entire day just to fit her in whenever they could. We have tried to get her in for appointments such as ear infections, an eye issue, and she suffered minor burn injuries (the blisters became infected) this past summer and the clinic constantly told us to take her to an emergency clinic. Since her initial appointments she hasn’t even been able to be seen here. We called to book an appointment for her yearly shots.... they told me they were booking over a month out right now. Thats not acceptable for an animal clinic - this clinic is not reliable or supportive. I will no longer be bringing my dog there and am unable to reccomend them as a good clinic.

I am not an easy client to satisfy. The manner in which the owner is dealt with is just as important as the way the patient is dealt with. Nudnik and I have been seeing Dr. McCauley for years now and only since they moved to the new location. The staff have always been polite and accommodating even during COVID-19. When I wanted to bring in Nudnik for weighing, I would just call ahead and when we arrived and somebody would come outside and bring him in for that purpose. NO CHARGE! Dr. McCauley seems to be respectful of the fact that pet owners are of limited ability to pay so he tries to be mindful of that. If a prescription needs refills, that is provided without the need for examination or other charges. With me, at least, the treatment plan for NUDNIK, my 10 year old black Labrador, is a result of consultation between us. When Nudnik needed knee surgery, we were referred to the Western Vet Clinic where it was done. Overall.. I find the Glamorgan Animal Clinic professional and accomm

I've been taking my labradoodle to Dr. MacAulay ever since she was a puppy. He is great with her, gives her affection while he's doing the exam and is very gentle when giving shots. He recommended an eye specialist when she was having issues and always follows up on the at her annual exam. He was also concerned with her stomach issues and we finally got that sorted out too. He's a great vet and I recommend this clinic to all. Great service and lovely staff.

Recently my family was faced with that difficult "end of life" decision that pet owners dread. Dr. Simon Otto was exceptional throughout. The entire team was respectful and the followup cards with words of comfort were unexpected and appreciated. The clinic provided us with a peaceful and appropriate send off for our beloved pet.

I took my dog to Glamorgan vet for a check up. Well she was very healthy they said. The next day we had to bring her back in, her face was swollen. Well they said abscess tooth, got her on medication, received a quote of 2000$ to remove the tooth. That was out of price range, but with medication we thought it might get the infection gone. She got better but with in 2 weeks we requested more medication while we waited for an other option. The girl who answered the phone was not at all nice. But after a couple days we did receive more medication. When we didn't see an inprovement, we took her too Signal Hill vet. We asked for an exam which was weight, heart beat, and because the dog was in pain, the vet got down to dog face level to try and look in her mouth. Not much of a exams. Well more medication. I finally decided to take her out of the city to Drumheller. Well long story short she had bone cancer, a month to live. She died December 30 2017. Please people get exrays for your pet, an

I have being going to the Glamorgan Animal Clinic since we have had are first dog(1982).Staff compassion was great with our first 2 dogs, but our last one and our new 13 month old dog have left me assessing if I need to look for another vet. When our last dog died at home, and we contacted the clinic I was very disappointed in the overall response. With our new dog I thought I would give them another chance, but again have been disappointed.Dr Falk's vet side manner had our poor pooch so scared, she asked us if he had been in training. She came at him with the syringes, and he was so scared. No doggy talk to get to know your patient(Dogs can sense this) Quoting studies on research.Dogs have a great sense of people and he will not be going back.4 dogs later and we are moving on.

I have switched my cat and dog over to the Glamorgan Animal Clinic and I have nothing but good things to say about them! I've seen both Dr's Macauley and Falk and both have been excellent. Very patient and I trust their judgment completely. Highly recommend this clinic.

I'd like to thank all the staff for the excellent treatment they gave Baby and the compassion & understanding they showed when I had to say goodbye to her. Then I received a sympathy card signed with a personal note from each one. I wouldn't want to go to any other veterinary clinic. Dr MacAulay has a great way with pets He could do anything to mine, they trusted him and were never stressed out going into the clinic. Animals are a good judge of character and thats good enough for me. I've highly recommend this clinic you won't find better people to take care of your pet

I drive from out of town to see Dr. Mahon. She's a great vet - will explore all options with you. Isn't money focussed. Always knowledgeable!

Dr. Falk was absolutely a horror to deal with. She talks down to people, has no empathy, tact, or concern, and really brings down what would be a great clinic. She even messed up our procedure and before realizing it was her mistake, had the nerve to tell us that if we didn't pay-up for more procedures our pet would die (turned out to be totally fine and their mistake). No apology was even given (by her anyways). Dr. Mccauley and the rest of the staff is great but for your pets sake, stay away from Dr. Falk.

I chose this clinic as my old dog had received great care here. But the female vet we saw was late and awful. She spoke to me like I was a child and seemed much more concerned with quoting studies than examining my dog. After asking if I had noticed any issues and me mentioning a minor issue to her, she snapped "well, I wouldn't be overreacting about it." No bedside manner with the dog either. Her abrupt manner with my rescue scared him and, for the first time in the 5 months I've had him, he snapped at a human. He was so freaked she only managed to check his teeth and eyes but despite not being able to conduct an exam, I still was charged the full amount. Needless to say, we won't be back.

The staff were efficient and very kind; they even cut costs of two follow up visits for free! They also called many times to see how my cat was doing! I am very impressed with how they run their business and how great they are professionally!

We have been using Glamorgan for 6+ years. Drs. MacAulay and Mahon have been great to our cats and dogs, including treating our cat's CRF and removing our dog's tumor. They are very transparent when discussing treatment options, making sure you know what can be done but never forcing you into expensive tests that may not be necessary. Recently had a new vet join the practice, Dr. Wheeler. I can not recommend her as I feel she is almost condescending; she doesn't listen to your pet's issues and seems to make her own assumptions. However the vet techs and office/reception staff are amazing, friendly, and welcoming, and remember all of us and our pets by name.

I have never had a bad time at glamorgan the staff is very nice and kind. The doctors are just as kind as the staff and they always go the extra mile. I know that my cat can be a little bit of a "B" but doctor Mahon always handles him with care. And the front line girl always know my name when i walk in and what kind of food i want. I will always be a client of glamorgan animal clinic as i have been for 20 + years. To that other lady comment,i dont dont understand as when i go there i always get 100% percent from them.

A few years ago my older cat was prescribed meds for hyperthyroidism and given an otherwise clean bill of health by Dr. Mann. After more than $500, he died of a heart attack only 45 days later. Recently I took my other cat to this clinic and the receptionist judged that she needed surgery! A doctor is required to make that call!! When I left the clinic, a lady outside warned me not to go back. Also the cone that they use is faulty and caused even more damage to my cat. I tended to my cat's topical wound on my own and she has healed WITHOUT SURGERY! And surgery under general anesthetic can be deadly for older pets. Be careful!

Dr. Kevin MacAulay is by far the best vet we've ever had. He is very attentive to both you and your pet and always goes the extra mile and is more than happy to explain anything that is going on with your pet. Dr. Kevin MacAulay will also call you at home with x-ray results rather than making you come back in to the clinic! Highly recommend going to Dr. Kevin MacAulay and his excellent staff at Glamorgan Animal Clinic.
