Thank you to Dr. Karli and his team for saving our cat's life and leg from a terrible infection. We thought maybe the cat would have to have his leg amputated but Dr. Karli said we would try antibiotics and wound treatment and honestly it's really amazing to have watched our cat come back from near death to walking about like his old self, not even limping. We have had many, many visits for bandage changes and wound care over the past few weeks, and everyone at Oxford Animal Hospital has been so kind, so affectionate with all the animals (not just our cat but every animal that I have seen them greet and care for as I've come and gone), knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Their charges for all of this care have been reasonable and clearly explained. Dr. Karli never promised miracles but I feel like we got handed one.

I can't say enough about the great people that work here. Very professional but they also understand the emotional aspects and are very caring.

Our family went through hell with this vet... They caused our dog to develop seizures, gave 4 shots in a single visit, a week later had its first seizure at just over a year and a half of age. This vet could have told us to comeback and spread the shots apart but then he wouldn't be able to charge us $500-600 at once. After the dog had seizures they kept calling us back to get bloodwork done, keeping him overnight etc.... Thousands of dollars and a year later the dog was put down after incurring some mental disabilities brought on by the seizures... This vet was even willing to admit that there was a possibility that it was because they administered all those vaccinations at once. This place is all about the money, please stay away

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL. I had rescued a dog with a couple of minor problems and brought him to this clinic for some tlc. The staff were nice but the Dr is definitely there to make money. My dog was blind in one eye already and had no problems with it. He wanted to perform surgery to remove it even though it wasnt hurting him. I had some blood work done for a minor skin condition at a cost of 160 dollars. He said It was routine for at least once a year, The clinic called a few months later saying they needed more blood work at another fee. I was not convinced he needed it so I went to port coquitlam animal hospital for a 2nd opinion. I found out I had been paying big money for prescriptions and testing which never needed to be done. I don't recommend this place unless you have deep pockets. If you want to get rid of money I will happily take it for free.

We have been going to Oxford since we got our puppy. The staff are warm and friendly and the doctors give sound advice. Dr. Karli really goes out of his way and even called twice after our pet's surgery to make sure the recovery was going well. Professional all the way!!

Our family had a very bad experience with this clinic - our dog was super sick (do not want to go into detail) and we were having a really hard struggle trying to make the decision whether we should keep him or euthanize him. In the end we made the decision to put him to sleep - but we were constantly bombarded by the clinic telling us to do extra blood work & xrays - which would be for NO BENEFIT to our beloved pooch ... the tests would only highlight what was wrong with him, they would not aid him in the healing process. We spent thousands of dollars and ended up with our best friend just getting worse and worse... I would NOT recommend this clinic, we loved our pup very much & had to lose him because of "medical" (I do not think they asses the breeds uniquely) decisions that were made by the clinic. They have a beautiful location, but half of the staff seems to be "corrupt" - I hope others do not have the same experiences as we did. I am just sharing our sad experience with them...

We've received such wonderful service. The one time the Vet was late they didn't bill us for that service. They are not pushy but will give you all the options.Kind, caring atmosphere and they don't rush you out the door.Teresa

I have been bringing my 17 1/2 year old dog to Dr. Karli for the past 10 years. He and Dr. Ina are wonderful and excellent vets who give absolutely the best service. Their pricing is fair compared to other places and they really care about the animals and offer practical advice. They take their time to explain and discuss everything and they have taught me so much valuable information (ie. diet, supplements, how to administer Sub-Q fluids) which has allowed my dog to live a very good quality, long and healthy life. The staff are all friendly and caring too. The office is very clean and well run. Their location and parking is convenient too. I highly recommend them!

I took my dog there for an eye problem. He was given antibiotics and an eye cream I brought him back for a follow apt and was then told he needs surgery immediately!! I took him to my regular vet for a 2nd opinion. Surprise surprise, My dog was NOT given the proper amount of antibiotics and was given the wrong eye ointment with wrong directions!!! HE DID NOT NEED SURGERY!!! with the proper antibiotics and cream he was perfectly FINE!!! I wasted $200 at the vet for nothing and was pushed to buy some vitamins that i later found out had nothing to do with his eye condition at all!!!! I would def BE VERY CAREFUL of going to this vet.!! Besides that the technician that took my dogs temperature was VERY VERY RUDE and abrupt with my dog and hurt him !!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!
